Das ist wirklich ein unglaublich toller Swain Guide.
Ich habe ihn jetzt 4 mal genauso nachgespielt und jede Runde in der Mitte gewonnen. Selbst gegen Fizz oder andere.

Und das mit der Träne der Göttin ist mega der Scheißdreck, durch die Runen, Meisterschaften und gutes Farmen gelingt einem das sehr gut. Und die Leben und Def sind viel wichtiger.

I can't read the whole guide, but I can guarantee you suggest many things that aren't really that good on Swain:

• Greater Seal of replenishment Mana regen runes are bad on Swain, unless you can't last hit, which in turn means you shouldn't really play Swain in the first place. You have enough mana sustain thanks to your passive to harass all you want pre-6, and post-6 you will have blues, passive, catalyst of the protector proc and you should consider a challice of harmony or the Season 3 improved Tear of the Goddess. The seals are too weak to make a good difference post RoA, which makes them pointless the whole game. Go HP/lvl runes, AP/lvl (for your level6+) or flat AP, or even armor;
  
• Greater Quintessence of Spell Vamp 2% spellvamp is ridiculous. Swain doesn't even need spellvamp in the first place, his regeneration comes from damage (post level6), and DoT effects have less noticeable heal since they take more time to take effect. Either flat AP or greater quintessences of swiftness are recommended (he's really slow and they allow him to followup his combo or escape faster);
  
• Abyssal Mask gives Swain a much bigger early damage boost than both Rabadon's Deathcap and Will of the Ancients. Also, I don't recommend WoTA at all (due to the whole damage = regen on him), but you may build an effective hextech revolver after your Abyssal/Rabadon. Before that, it's not good enough;
  
• Never start Doran's Ring as a mid laner, unless you know you're versus an idiot, and even then the MS boost from boots + pots is better. Boots allow more harass, more followup on combo, and better gank escapeability;
  
• 21/0/9 Masteries are 1000 times better tan 9/0/21 on Swain. You don't need the spellvamp if you have more damage. I also recommend all 4 points on Swiftness ;
  
  That's pretty much it. I'm pretty sure of what I'm saying, Swain is my main champ and one of the most I play in ranked, to great success in lane although I can't always carry my games
