dorans ring start on support is a good way to instantly lose the lane

I read the guide. The cheat sheet makes sense. You're just wrong.

I don't suppose the 23% rating is any indication of this whatsoever, right? The fact that every single voter has downvoted you is just a coincidence, right? They're all just trollvotes who have absolutely no idea what they're talking about, right?

Yeah... you keep thinking that.

Thanks Brilliant One and Saccharrinn.

I don't know why you're getting butthurt now.

Haven't you ever seen someone get annoyed or angry when they have to re-explain things step-by-step to someone who doesn't listen the first time around when they spent all that time explaining it in the first place? I'm sure it's a universal issue in this world. For someone that has "keep your eyes open" as a signature, you sure are blind. ;)

If you read the guide maybe the cheat-sheet would make sense.

Since you're not going to go back, read it, and still judge like you know everything without knowing anything I'll tell you. I said choose 2 out of the 4 items based on your situation. I said you can skip rabadon's if you really feel the need to. Oh Wow all of a sudden it makes sense! Who knew, right?

I'd love you to judge this guide harshly AFTER you read it. What's the point of judging something you don't know? Can you read the first paragraph of a book and know the whole story? If you can, I'd wish you'd make some cliff notes for me.

It's not hard to manage a ward with a dorans ring every time you go have to go back which isn't much since you have mana-regen. (Something i might have mentioned in the guide you didn't read) And you don't need to check river bush every time singularity comes up because you can place lux herself up there WHEN you have the lane pushed. IF you don't have it pushed it isn't that much of a problem. And if you are being pushed you can just throw 1 singularity up there to check tri-bush when you suspect, then continue to battle. (All issues I mentioned in the guide btw).....

If you wish to play Lux as a support you might want to jig her masteries as well, extra 40 gold at start is very handy!!

As for me, it's not a good way of playing her as a support. First of all, it's just a basic matter - you need some cash on the beginning. Of course playing 100% support with her makes no sense at all but you really need some wards, gold-making items or if you don't want to get for example Kage's Lucky Pick, you have to have runes for gold. I can't see it here. You should think about that. Maybe you are quite useful in fighting but you won't help your team as a support who you are supposed to be.

As support you're not meant to be farming unless you're covering your lane.

If you're not farming, howdafuq do you get 3 Doran's Rings, boots and wards? OK, let's assume you manage that after 20 minutes, my original question still stands. Howdafuq do you get 4 3K+ items on top of your triple Doran's?

OK, another question. If you take Doran's Ring as your starts, how many wards can you get? Easy, none, right? So how do you know where the enemy is? Easy, by using your E, right? You've got it all answered, right?

Here's where you went wrong.

- You can only check one bush at a time.
- It takes mana to check.
- It has CD.
- No mana = no ward.
- No ward = gank.
- Gank = death.
- Death = lose.

If you don't take GP10s, you only generate enough gold each time for wards and then virtually nothing else.

Now, about this 'have you read the guide' issue. Mate, your cheatsheet is wrong pretty much everywhere. Why the hell should I read the guide if the cheatsheet is wrong? Because you'll address problems found in the cheatsheet? Like how you have all the wrong masteries, wrong item build (for support), wrong skillset (maxing the wrong skill second), and so on?

Now, let us read the guide itself... oh, look at your first words:

Did yall even read the items guide section before insta-voting? I never said get all of the items. I said choose between them. I only put them up there as choices. In many parts I say you can do this or even choose to do that instead! Therefore you don't need GP10 runes because you don't need to be able to buy all of them.

I don't believe you understand the concept of support. You should focus more on wards and auras then being able to throw a ton of magic damage on the enemy (thats the AP carry's job). As Lux support, your job is to zone out and poke the enemies (and you dont need much AP for that), grant vision through the use of wards and your E, and make sure your Ad carry lives through the use of your shield, shurelias reverie, zekes herald, and aegis of the legion. This build and guide is for an ap mid lux, not support.

I mentioned heavily using wards. I mentioned using E for checking bushes. I mentioned heavily using shield if needed. Why are you saying I don't understand when I clearly mentioned these issues unless you didn't read the guide?

Auras are great for supporting your team, but not if you can't feed your ADC early. Lux doesn't have a heal, so it doesn't matter how many auras you put on your ADC in bot, the other healer is going to out heal all your damage which you aren't causing because you chose to get Aura items instead. If the other healer chooses to get Aura items where are you at then? You've just been negated.

The Doran's start is designed to let you cause enough damage to the enemy ADC to feed Your ADC; therefore, supporting your ADC so he/she becomes fed.

No GP/10 items, runes, and masteries.....
the only thing supporting is ur spells
ur only aura abyssal scepter aura wont help ad carries (laning phase finished b4 u even get it probably)
Supports have very useful aura that benefits everyone and should not be squishy as they have to say alive to support everyone, ur not a good support if u can easily die in a teamfight
