Hey all. First post here. I've been playing LoL for about two weeks now, and one of the problems that I keep running into is getting zoned out by enemies hiding in the bushes, bot or top. Even if I try to keep the fight to my tower, I can still run into trouble trying to stay in XP range because the other guys are just waiting at the edge of the bushes, waiting to poke the **** out of me. I've found that it doesn't matter what champ I play; if the two players want to zone me out, there's little I can do to stop them. Any suggestions?

Ha. This is a really simple fix. Go ahead and let them sit in the bush. Keep the creepwave towards your tower, and chill out on the far side of the lane away from the bush. If they are sitting in the bush, they arent farming, and they arent getting gold. Which means that you are getting more experience and cash than they are, and will dominate them later on in the game. Or, you could play a champ that has a skillshot (like Sapling Toss with Maokai or Essence Flux with Ezreal) and blast them while they are in the bush. They take enough damage, and they will get pushed out.

I like the sapling idea. I have used skillshots on champs such as Ashe, but Hawkshot has a 60 CD and I can't afford to Volley into the bush endlessly just hoping they are there.

I do stay on the far side of the lane, away from the bush. But the creep waves move back and forth - if the tower eliminates all the minions, the minions reset between the towers when reinforcements arrive. At that point, I can't get anywhere close enough to get experience, let alone last hits, because I get poked. Typically they are sacrificing last hits to zone me out, but they're between me and the creeps, so they get experience and I don't.

This.

Also, the ability to last-hit well under a turret partly solves the problem, too. If you're in a 1v2 top, it's also beneficial to get a champion that can take damage fairly easily and not get shoved out of lane. Good examples are Shen, Vladimir, Yorick etc.

Warding the bush is always the prime solution, especially if someone else in your team has teleport, opening a ganking opportunity down the line.

Yeah, alot of these points will help alot. Wards will save your life, and good 1v2 champs like Vladimir and Yorick will help alot also. And like Xeronn said, gz on looking out and learning early. You will go far in this game. If you ever have a question, feel free to ask in the forums or PM me personally, I would be happy to answer any questions. Add me in game if you think that would help XD

if you are laning 2v2, use the ward
if you are 1v2, just dont die and your team will have the upper hand somewhere else (still, wards wont hurt^^)
in ranked 5s freezing a lane to zone a 1v2 isnt even a viable strategy anymore, because the other team will just take a turret elsewhere, then swap.
