What are MOBAFire Inhouses?:
MOBAFire Inhouses are Custom Games hosted by MOBAFire Referees. In these Custom Games we play together with other MOBAFire members. The goal of these games is to have fun, meet other MOBAFire members, and hopefully learn something! :)
We also sponsor these inhouses by having a raffle drawing at the end of every month for $10 RP cards. If you participated in any official MOBAFire Inhouse, you're in! You get 1 ticket for every inhouse game you play in.
Rules:
We have some simple rules that you must observe while playing in our inhouses. These rules are here to create a fun and friendly environment for everyone.
Minor Offence (1pt): spam / abuse of sign up sheet, spamming, trashtalking, pause/unpause abuse, whining/complaining, minor raging, minor flaming, major lag / dc problems, having to leave game early, afking for more than 3 min
Offence (2pt): direct insult, raging, flaming, racist / discriminatory comment, ignoring host
Major Offence (3pt): rage quitting / rage afking, intentional feeding, trolling (in attempt to ruin game)
3 pts = 1 week inhouse ban
6 pts = 2 week inhouse ban
9 pts = 1 month inhouse ban
12 pts = permanent ban
Every 2 weeks if no offences were committed 1 pt is remove from your record.
If your actions fall outside these parameters or are an extreme case the host has the right to issue a ban from the current inhouse.
How to Join:
If you want to sign up for an inhouse simply reply to the thread below and show up at the time posted. We will keep track of those that don't show, so you should be pretty sure you can come if you sign up. Saying you can "maybe" show up doesn't really work for us, since we give those who sign up prior to the inhouse priority. Be sure to check the specific thread for any additional rules.
If you signed up for an inhouse please join the Mobafire in-game chat room and let the host know that you are here. Invites will be handed out through the in-game chat room so it is vital that you join it.
Who Can be a Host?:
Who can be inhouse hosts? Right now only Referees can be inhouse hosts. They have been selected because of their familiarity with inhouses and their fitting personalities. If you're interested in becoming a Referee read this.
If you have a problem with the inhouse host please pm me and give me detailed information on why you were dissatisfied with your host. I will take your complaints into consideration and either warn or put the host on probation.
If you want to make an inhouse and you are NOT a Ref, feel free too! But they do not belong in this section. Use the matchmaking section of the forums to arrange / post pics for unofficial inhouses.
Details:
These inhouses are aimed at promoting learning and discussion. Criticisms are open and encouraged. If you are a person that likes to mentor this is a good place for you to come and help newer players improve their gameplay. If you like theorycrafting and testing new builds this is the place to come to get feedback from other users on how you can improve your build. If you don't like hearing other people tell you you're doing something wrong this is NOT the place for you! Please only join these inhouses if you are willing to listen to critiques of your gameplay, and not rage, flame, or whine in response.
That being said, all critiques of member's gameplay should be RESPECTFUL! Try to think about how you'd react to what you're about to say, and soften the blow to other members.
Also you are not REQUIRED to critique players, it is just not against the rules. This gives these inhouses the ability to be more serious, help new players, etc.
We will do our best to balance the teams. Nobody likes playing a one-sided game. However, you must understand that since the members that attend will vary it will be impossible to completely balance teams. If you feel like teams are unbalanced just consult with your host, and they will do the best they can. You are still not allowed to break the rules even if teams are unbalanced.
