you mean aram?
Thank you jhoijhoi, Keondre, LaCorpse, The_Nameless_Bard, Arcana3, Apfeljack, Hogopogo, eddie199, Xiaowiriamu, and JEFFY40HANDS for the spectacular sigs!

Dunno when it "was" popular in Domi if you don't speak about PBE.
Since it's only avaiable for anything else besides Proving Ground after yesterdays patch.
Imo it's no good, it misses sth to draw a clear line from Heal, even after Heal's rework, it's far more useful to pick and also heal 2-3 others to get more out of it, not to mention that Barrier is somewhat lackluster if you don't have some Mr/Armor to back it up.

It cancels out ignite, I think some of those casters who didn't really use it much could consider this (Long range casters like Xerath or Lux)?
"Cancelling out" means it would also prevent the heal reduce from kicking in.
It simply anulls Ignite's damage like it does with any other dmg source.
And while it's CD is average, the only thing it's good for imo, is to prevent death in a situation where you're ignited and the enemy damage is just barely enough to take you down.
Otherwise:
- Grab Heal
- be not as dumb as getting foc'd down while you're mates aren't even in range to take some beating
- heal around triple of the amount on your team what you'd get as shield.
And if Heal isn't meant for your role than Barrier isn't sth you should consider getting either.
my buddy's been playing with Barrier every single game today. he is pretty fond of it, and he's been playing pretty well as either ADC or jungle all day. couldn't say whether or not his barrier is better than a heal or whatever other spell he would have used
