Couple of big points I'm going to raise here.
1: Why the Dancer? If you've got FroMal, you're going to catch them unless they have some sort of blink. And then you have A&B or Vault breaker to chase them down afterwards.
2: Why IE? Sure it's a pretty good amount of damage, but you've got the crit thrown into the mix which doesn't do a ton for Vi's damage.
3: Why Spirit Visage? Unless you're going the Luxury route of BT, you don't have any healing sources. Honestly, you can build Bulwark+Maw if you're having MR issues.
4: Atma's is pretty bad with the low health you're sporting in that build. It's fairly bad overall, just sayin.
Just my thoughts on actually playing her for a bit as opposed to theory crafting what works.

Attack Speed synergizes with W
Thats why I put the Phantom Dancer in
If you are getting a Phantom dancer then get a Infinity Edge with it, So that you will define you crit chance and make it good. Crit is still good.
Spirit Visage for the slot filler, I wanted this to look pretty
Atmas because if you build a Warmogs with the Frozen Mallet and Black cleaver, You will have 4200+
1.5% of 4200 is 63 which is quite good for the amount of armor you are also getting.
So I Guess what I did wrong is not say exactly when to buy things but whatever. This explanation should be enough

This is not, "How pretty does it look" it's, "These are items I think are viable on Vi"
Moving on, "Buy Warmogs and then Atmas will be good," is not a good argument. Saying that you have to buy other items that you wouldn't buy normally, to make a fairly sub-optimal item good, is not a good plan.
Secondly, that's a lot of HP without a lot of resists. 45 Armor will not help that much late game and it's basically what old cleaver took off.
It's my opinion that she works best as a bruiser. The main point being that with the combination of A&B and vaultbreaker, your soul job in life is to blast past the front lines and go STRAIGHT to their carry and do some disruption in the process, which is AWESOME. It creates a wide open firing line to either the APC or ADC for the rest of your team to follow. The only issue there is, you're going to pick up some SERIOUS aggro once you get there, so you gotta have some good defense to survive the oncoming *****torm that is about to fall upon you. In that respect, I will give my opinions, and address a few of Lugignaf's points.
The core items, i can agree with. FM is essential to any ad bruiser build, and BC is simply too awesome of an item to ignore on nearly anyone dealing physical damage, and the MR and tenacity from merc treads is nearly essential to any bruiser as well, especially someone thats going to pick up as much agg as vi. I think that Maw should probably also get moved into the Core Items section. That shield saves lives, the mres is invaluable, and it gives good AD as well.
The "luxury offense" i have a few questions about. If you already have a BC, LW seems a bit much as far as arpen goes, it just really isn't necessary to her style of "Blast in, disrupt, and focus down on the carry so the rest of the team can get to them easier". The same stylistic issues can be said of PD and Triforce. You already have the slow proc from FM, so that's 1/3 of the TriForce wasted. The other two parts really aren't that useful to her either. A bit, but not enough to justify the tremendous cost. The thirster is good, I edge is OK, BRK is OK.
The "luxury Defense" is pretty good, but i have to agree with Lugignaf, the spirit visage is really totally unnecessary. Some champs LOVE it,
Dr. Mundo, ad
Sion, and
Volibear all come to mind, but the only source of lifesteal you have is from the thirster, which isn't enough to make one of your 2 or 3 empty slots worth it for the visage. One thing i WILL disagree with Lugignaf on, however, is the atmas. Im pretty sure what you were going for was a way to get a decent amount of armor while still grabbing something offensive, which
Atma's Impaler was designed to do. No, the damage isn't amazing considering all you have major health wise is the FM, but it IS damage, AND crit, AND armor. I see your point, and i think it's a good one.
Otherwise, yeah this is a pretty good summation of all the experience i've had with
Vi. OR you could just go hog wild, get a
Mobility Boots, two
Bloodthirsters and three
Black Cleavers and just become an AD assassin. Ya know. For shiggles.

*sigh*... Wrote my last response after Lugignaf's first response, and in the time i took to write it, there were three more posts. So, to explain, let me explain something.
I was basing my comments on the idea that AFTER you built your core, THEN you get luxury items, which is why the "warmogs then atmas" argumen't didnt come up on my end, or anything like that.

Take a look at this build
Ninja Tabi
Black Cleaver
Warmogs
Frozen Mallet
Maw of Malamortius
Guardian Angel
Total I think 170 armor and 150 Magic resist That sure does seem like and ample amount of defenses to me
Runes and masteries included
