j.cc mentioned he had worked on the icon thing. I suggested this several times to him. He might've already added it but it might not be live yet. I will ask him. :)
EDIT: The icon beside the wiki links is indeed finished and will be live soon!

That's awesome news! What about the idea for a "landing page" for the wiki, instead of the jumble of links currently?
I agree that it needs an overhaul, I'm just not sure if/when that will be. Personally I'd rather visit the suggestions for improving the guide browsing / rating system first. *wishes I could help more*
I will suggest it though. Maybe it will take less time than I think.

Thanks to GrandMasterD for my sig!
Well surely it wouldn't take that long... the boxes on the front pages could be used as templates to hold the various categories. Dunno. It just really needs an aesthetic overhaul.
Yeah, that's pretty and neat. As long as there's a box where someone can write something about what the wiki is, who it's written about etc. It just desperately needs a facelift.
Clicking on one of the icons should bring you to a Homepage for that category. So if I clicked on MobaFire, I should get a general wiki about MobaFire with addition links at the bottom or something. Same if I clicked on Mechanics - general description and then elaborative links under it.
It just appears so unorganised at the moment.

You need to log in before commenting.
1) A home page for the wiki instead of a bunch of links. Or at the very least, nicer organisation instead of ugly lists. Even a proper header for each category. At the moment it just looks unorganised and terrible and confusing - if I was a first time user, I wouldn't bother looking into any of those links.
2) An icon to go with wiki linking. You already have this:
3) I'm tempted to say that the Wiki should be open to the public, but in my heart of hearts I know that'd be a bad idea. Instead, garner interest for manually promoted Editors. If people know there is a place where they can edit and create community content, they may feel more related to MobaFire. I don't know. Just generate interest in the Wiki again. A lot of the pages need to be updated and touched up.
