I'll upvote it to counter some trollvotes who didn't say anything useful. The guide looks really impressive and is an example to all other guide writers, but it's a shame that the contents aren't good. Doran's Blade start is already pretty bad, double dorans before boots is just no, as mentioned. I actually don't play Jax (much, I have him but I main support) but Q should be a one-point wonder, just like the majority of mobility skills. When you think about the cooldowns, a reduction of 1 second per level from 10 (which isn't really that long) isn't all that much.

Last post arguing here.

... Do you REALLY think some idiot is going to let you just walk 50 units towards them so you can slap them with Empower... somehow I'm doubting it

Well, it's either that or they miss 100% of last hits trying to stay away from you.

It's a really pretty guide. But your ability order should be changed. When I play jax it's always best to max W first. I would suggest changing that and addind notes on your opponents all you have is ... beneath each one. Also Nautilus is easy to beat top lane and rengar is medium pre 6.

Thanks to MissMaw for my signature!

I am only sad that people felt the need to downvote. I know that there may be some truth to what people are saying, and that W might be stronger, but I can only guide based upon what I have had great succes with. Maybe my playstyle in lane is different from others', because I just don't feel that maxing W first is any good for me.

I may reupload this guide with a few changes and added "Other Viable" options - not that people will bother reading any of my guide at all, anyway.

With this, I suppose I'm calling it quits for now. It's just too damn depresseing to see the guide that you've worked the hardest for, washed down into the gutter, despite the 25-30 hours of work it took to get it out there.

Mood: Ruined.

Untrue. Ganks aren't all damage, there's also CC (think, Maokai(snare + knockback), Jarvan IV(knockup and cage which can follow you after you jump), just a few examples of currently popular junglers).

Also, what do you do about a jungler that's camping you? The second they see you Leap Strike in, they go, and you're left 1v2 for 6 whole seconds without a disengage. 6 seconds is enough to bring down literally any overextended champion.

You're also relying on your minion wave to always be there when you get ganked, which isn't a 100% chance of letting you escape unless you only plan to be aggressive once every 30 seconds.

As for starting items, Flask or Cloth start is a much better option than Dorans, so you'd have a ward anyway...And most of the time you can predict jungler ganks. If you haven't learned to do so, I'd advise you start.

Lastly, you're putting yourself WAY out of position to trade with Leap Strike. That's 600 units away from your tower, ~2 seconds of walking without boots. I don't know about you, but

It's not "I'm going to go into an extended duel to get off 2 Empower procs, it's "This guy is in melee range, I'm going to slap him," then 3 seconds later, he's in melee range again, and you're going to hit him again, or zone him.

And for the last time, you build 2 slows and a stun, and also a ton of movespeed, what's stopping you from hitting them twice in a row?

And a waste of mana? What?

It isn't superior because you're usually tanky enough to survive said burst, then out-dps them with W...

2 dorans blade before boots is stupid, not to mention rushing guinsoos is lame.
