And you are definitally right that HP potions are more useful when you are losing the lane, but with Carnivore you can just Rupture minions to regain HP and use mana potions to make sure you can keep it up. Farming with his Q means you can usually stay safely at range even if your losing the lane, but I do buy HP potions when I know im going to get hurt and Chos passive wont be enough to heal it. Remember in the item build it only shows what I start with so when i come back to the shop I always get wards and sometime HP potions, but if there is a jungle that has strong ganks from level one then I would buy a ward at the start as well
+1 Rep for the great comment, an excellent idea on the ability order. I'd say switch up the sequence according to who you top against.
Leveling W > more damage, longer CC, can't be missed
Depending on the matchup, most of the time, for top cho, I prefer bottle, potions, and a ward. 3 HP potions are much more important for lane. If you start losing your lane, mana potions are completely useless. At least go 2 hp and 1 mana.
Maxing rupture: he dumbest thing you can do on cho, outside of boots 3 mana pot start.
Not sure how maxing Rupture is the dumbest thing for Cho (unless your jungling) since that either means your maxing Vorpal Spikes first or Feral scream. Since this isn't an atk speed build maxing Vorpal Spikes wouldn't be as useful unless you like to brawl but that isn't how I play Cho. And that leaves feral scream which im at a loss why you would max that first. Rupture lets you hurt them more when you harass which works well with my playstyle.
Just out of curiosity if you dont start with boots and mana pots what do you usually start with? If you use Doran's Ring I didnt include it because I hate buying doran's items, thats just my personal preference.
Thanks for the comments all can't wait to hear more!
A lot of people seem to do this wrong these days :P
The summoner spells and abilities are the least in-depth thus deserve to be at the start of your guide.
So if I were you, I'd change the position of those chapter directly after the pros and cons section.
But since I love your end picture so much, I will +1 :D

First off, this looks like a very nice, well thought out guide. BBCoding is used well & some nice illustrations.
My main champion being Lee Sin, i'd like to give you some advice on how to "beat me" *it hurts to give advice on how to counter me out* Stack armor, get in his face, but not where you can be hit by Sonic Wave / Resonating Strike. Eg. Get a few stacks on Feast, Rupture him, Feral Scream and then get back to the safety of your minions. When he gets low, just keep staying in his face, keep the pressure in.
Just a suggestion. Sometimes ad Cho'Gath can be strong ( Wit's End, Trinity Force, etc. I'd consider looking into it.
Overall, a great build and it's a +1 from me!
Only a few walls of text!
