I think a pretty safe way to know is to watch pro games and streams to see what the common picks are. If you see a lot of [[Kha'Zix]] and [[Zed]] mid, chances are they're pretty viable there. If you never see [[Karma]] anywhere, she's probably not as viable. There are some champions that are viable, but are not common picks, but for those you just have to have some understanding of the game and what has changed in the last few months.[/quote]

Galio isn't really played at all atm, nor is Heimer, Soraka isn't a viable mid, Nami isn't a strong mid, Kayle isn't a great support, Viktor isn't a good support (not sure why he's there), Twisted Fate is a pretty bad AD carry and Fizz and Yi are both bad junglers.[/quote]
