Maokai can do quite some difference when harassing with Sapling Toss, though he needs some extra mana resource for that, like Soraka, Clarity or blue buff.
When it comes to destroying turrets it's really good with Fiora/ Master Yi along with Gangplank. They are real turret busters.

You can easily push straight minion lines with Olaf´s Undertow at It´s rank 2/3 . Same goes for Singed but It´s more time time recruiting .

I once destroyed 2 mid turrets as heimerdinger in 10 minutes in a ranked match.

Pushing doesnt only mean ''ability to clear minions quickly''. It also means good poke, good sustain, good range to hit towers, good CC and AoE damage for teamfights (if your team is pushing hard, a teamfight is almost inevitable)
