Ok, in an attempt to become a better LoL player, I'm looking for friendly advice as to how to better counter jungle. I've been playing Kha'Zix, Lee Sin, and Shaco lately.
As Lee Sin I find it pretty easy to counter jungle since he has amazing early game damage and a slippery champion with his Q and W. I try to catch them at Red buff and I can kill them before they use Smite on it, taking them out AND stealing their red. Next, counter jungling with Shaco is fun, able to deal tons of damage if the enemy is caught in the right position, and as Kha'Zix, I can't seem to counter jungle with properly, even though he is my main.
Any tips should help me, so please, tell me other places to ward their jungle besides red buff. Thanks again guys, looking forward to your advice!

EG: He's on purple team and ganks bot level 2, you go take that red!
Taking a ward or 2 with Lee Sin when you counter gank allows for you to get in and get out even if they contest you.
Shaco is just good because of Deceive & Jack In The Box.
Kha'Zix is fun & easy because of the HUGE utility you get from Leap.
Goodluck sir!
Lets see, my personal jungle or even counter jungle experience is probably on par with yours, but I tend to watch streams and youtube videos mostly on a daily basis, some of them are really incredible junglers and know how to counter jungle, when/where all that good stuff.
One thing I have learned is Shaco seems to be the quintessential counter jungler, able to get in an out of an enemy jungle almost at will. Mainly due to his Deceive and it's stealth properties, Hallucinate doesn't hurt either when he gets himself into a situation he wasn't expecting. Added with his CC on the boxes, it's really hard to chase a Shaco let alone keep him out of your jungle without a bunch of Pink's everywhere.
I could see Lee Sin counter working well as you've already stated, with his high mobility and decent early game damage he can gain an advantage and never let it go depending on who he's jungling against, but it's situational for that very reason.
As for Kha'Zix I rarely see him in the jungle, even less so doing much counter stuff, well not to the degree Shaco can. I suppose it could work if you got all your CDs but again, it's all situational. Being able to get in, secure the kill/buff and getting out is all that really matters on the counter side.
Maybe try Evelynn jungle, her passive would help get in but her escapes really only consist of her Dark Frenzy, which does work against Exhaust but high mobility champs could make easy work of her if you're not careful.
Always wanted to try a Fizz jungle, and his mobility/high burst could make for some interesting counter attempts. Still, in the end, I think Shaco has the corner on the market for counter jungle.
I agree, I love to counter jungle with Shaco. Surprisingly though Kha'Zix is my main that I plan to play ranked with. I've played only 16 games and 10 were with Kha'Zix (8 wins 2 losses). However, recently I've been wanting to play as Udyr for a jungler in ranked. He's very strong and pretty scary if used correctly. Any advice for him?
Kha'Zix has a relatively weak clear but he's an exceptional duelist. You can ward the enemy jungle (I like the brush separating wraith camp from mid lane), steal a camp, then kill him (if it's a weak duelist) when he comes to clear it. Warding the enemy jungle can also let you know if their jungler ever decides to clear a camp even when he's low on health. You can get free kills if they get careless like that.
My favorite counter-jungling wards are the curved brush going into their red buff, the brush separating their wraiths from mid lane and the curved brush going into their blue buff. Against mana-dependent junglers, it's really beneficial to take their first blue buff if you can. Against gank-heavy junglers, you'll probably want to steal red. Controlling blue buffs is also really effective against mana reliant mid lanes and can give your mid laner a pretty big advantage if you steal several blues in a row.
When you successfully steal an enemy buff camp, clear the whole thing if you want to steal it again in 5 minutes. You can enable chat timestamps and use a retreat ping on the buff to get the exact time (otherwise just look at the clock, add 5 minutes and type the spawn time in chat). If you want to contest an enemy buff right as it spawns or right as you notice the enemy jungler going to clear it, it's very helpful if you can get your nearby laners to come invade the jungle with you. Level one invades should generally involve your whole team.
