Nice guide, but I am curious. Whatever happened to Q? I know it got a pretty brutal nerf, but it was the quintessential first maxed/evolved skill because of how hard it could assassinate or burst. Now some do not evolve it at all! Even in lane I focus Q this and no one can compete with the damage. Again, the nerfs hurt, but 2.0 is still dizzying scaling, especially on such a minimal cooldown execution. Which, I might add, earns even more merit in a health stacking meta such as this one.

Edit: I am referring to the mid guide. I realize it is maxed first for roam/duel/solo. But even mid I see it as a much more powerful evolution than R. I understand the poke concept of W, but you are buying early sustain anyways, and the evolved W cannot do full damage outside of Q range anyways.

The problem with maxing Q is that you have extremely little poke. This means that you essentially have to all-in your opponent every time you want to fight, meaning that you're extremely vulnerable to jungler ganks. In addition, if your opponent plays safe, he/she can push you to tower over and over again, since you have no reliable waveclear. This will cost you a lot of CS, and will give the enemy mid laner room to either roam to another lane or to freely pressure your tower while you're trying to CS under turret.

I usually go with this but what do you think about this.. I usually go mid with him as a counter pick but I don't always get junglers who are willing to give me blue so I am forced to use this:

Boots (situational)->Black Cleaver->The Bloodthirster->Manamune->Frozen Mallet->Trinity Force

I'll right now say I'm not really good Kha'Zix but I'm trying to learn so I came here to ask for advice.. If you'd point out some bad picks in items I build and explain that would be much appreciated.

Thanks in forward

Mallet and Trinity Force are redundant and you're wasting a lot of money on the double Phage passive. Cleaver/BT/Manamune are all fine, but you really need a Last Whisper in there somewhere. Mallet is okay as a defensive item, but Warmog's/BVeil/GA all offer more survivability - the slow effect is typically wasted when considering how powerful your evolved Void Spikes are. Triforce isn't very strong either, as the burst it offers is suboptimal and other items generally outclass it.

I think its more useful to play Kha'zix on top lane, or jungle.

This guide is excellent. When I first tried Kha'zix, i tried other guides, and did horrible. I almost stopped using him. But I found this guide, and gave Kha'zix one more chance, and I'm glad I did. This guide has helped me so much when using Kha'zix. And, it actually translates well to top lane. Whenever I can't go mid and have to take top, I still use this guide, and it works like a charm. Great job!

Good guide +1
though I think Tear of the Goddess should be core if you decide to run 9 in defense instead of utility.

hmm i dont like these items role more with cd u will rock better

There are five items in the entire game that give attack damage and cooldown reduction, and they are:
Spirit of the Elder Lizard, Black Cleaver, The Brutalizer, Youmuu's Ghostblade, and Zephyr. You're not a jungler and you don't need attack speed, and Brutalizer builds into the other two. Cleaver is superior to Ghostblade.

What kind of build do you suggest for getting more CD? You'll be getting blue buff most of the time with this build, and combined with Cleaver and your masteries, you'll be hitting 34% CDR, which is pretty damn good. Besides, your ultimate has a pretty low CD, Leap resets itself, and Q is extremely spammable to begin with.
