What's your Favorite game for any old console/PC?
I don't mean the standards like FFVII, Mario Bros or the like but games that usually aren't in the "top 10 games"-lists but that you still enjoyed as a kid or young adult.

For me it would be Terranigma for the SNES, which is just a great action-rpg with an awesome plot about ressurecting the entire world. :D
It never got released in the US though so it hasn't got too much attention...

What epoche are we talking about?

Yeah, I loved Adventure Quest, was my introduction to the Web, you can still see it pretty well from my username, which got shorter though. It used to be something like Werepirelorddeath357 or something.

Spellforce 1 n' 2 were my first Rts, and a big reason for me loving that genre so much.

C'ept for that, yeah, Spore made a some kind of part of my child-gaming.
As for Halo, the only shooter which I really enjoyed playing.

I also think Civilisation(all parts) kinda got overlooked, it was so much better than that Anno ****.

But yeah, most of you will probably have more gaming experiance than me.
So go ahead, make fun of me for thinking Spore was a fun game!

I'm streets ahead. If you don't get it you're streets behind.

The Legend of Zelda: Majoras Mask is easily the best game I played when I was a kid.

It's a game I consider to be great even by today's standards.

I played a lot of Luigi's Mansion and Super Smash Bros when I was little. They're pretty fun, nothing amazing tho.

Wow, just judging by the games you played, you are a bit younger than I expected :D

The Suikoden games on the PS1 are indeed great games.

To tell you the truth I was kinda hoping for sth I haven't played before so I can kill a bit (or alot) of time.

I clocked several hundred hours of Phantasy Star Online: Episodes I & II on my Gamecube when I was younger. I doubt I have the patience to grind it hard now, but it could still be extremely fun to grab a few friends to try out the Challenge Mode levels. My brother and I never made it past the first dozen or so, simply because they become prohibitively difficult (or impossible) without more players and the online features for the game weren't ever that workable on the Gamecube.

I'll have to see if I can find my N64 games when I get home, but I remember enjoying Quest 64 for that console. Bomberman 64 was also fun, although I don't recall the story mode being as captivating as the 3D Bomberman multiplayer. I really enjoyed Harvest Moon 64, too, although my other attempts at Harvest Moon games have been frustrating.

If you're looking for something to waste a lot of time on, you might want to check out Salem, which is a hardcore survival RPG in the Harvest Moon-ish vein. It helps a lot to play with friends, and the tutorial can take an annoying amount of time due to how badly the areas near town have been picked clean, but it's overall quite enjoyable.

Alternatively, I've gotten probably the most bang for my buck in terms of time spent playing for money spent recently on Dungeons of Dredmor on Steam. When it goes on sale, you can get it and all of its DLC for under US$5, and I've easily spent 60 hours on it without getting bored. It's a straight Roguelike RPG, is very silly, and is extremely good at not necessarily telling you what things do.

Well that are only some, can't remember all of them, but there were quite a lot, moreover since I'm a "Everything was better in the past" guy,
