Ok so today was a fairly good day. Gained 34 points.
I got an idea from one of the enemy Akali's so her is what she said.
"Riot needs a passive point system for players who do well but still lose."
While it does seem like a nice thought it would be hard to work around.

Here are some way I believe it could be implemented:

1. A 1.5 or higher k/d/a ratio so that just going flat positive would get you points but actually being a good player would. Ex. A 3/3/0 or a 1/3/4 game should not give you points cause they average to 1 kill per death; a 1/2/3 or a 5/2/6 game should give you up to 8 points in my opinion.
(Now although most of you will not agree with this first implementation I still think it is sort of viable.)

2. The points could be team averaged. Ex. The losing teams combined k/d/a is 20/34/36. The losing team should gain about 2-5 points each for having a positive combined score.
(This option seems a tab more viable IMO. As it can give a losing team an objective even if there is no possibility of the team winning.)

3. Last one. A 1st, 2nd and 3rd MVP system. Now this one might not be popular, but listen. If you are generally a good player and your team is losing then this can help you. If player 1 has a 5/2/4, 2 has a 3/1/8 and 3 has a 6/3/2. Then 2 should be 1st MVP, 3 should be 2nd and 1 should be 3rd. The points given for then are like this:
1st - 6
2nd - 4
3rd - 2

Now just a reminder these ideas are not full-proof but they are a start.
I would really like to see RIOT try at least one of these out.
Or even test it on the PBE.
So if you have a good idea let me know it. I read all the comments.
