Wondering which one you guys think are better this is mostly for mid lane. Since ever other lane goes armor always. Im wondering when you would go armor or hp. I could see hp being good but after laning there are alot of physical dmg dealers why have hp per lvl.

HP per level scales better into the game, armor is pretty good early-game vs auto-attack harass. People like Kat and Talon usually get armor instead of HP per level because they're both meelee, and therefore both very susceptible to auto-attack harass.

Ranged mids usually take HP per level because as I said, they scale better into the game, and because they're ranged, they won't be getting harassed with auto-attacks too much.

What about mord? Hp per lvl or armor. I guess hes a melee but does he need armor since he has shield.

Flat HP isn't that bad either for the early levels.

Well, it depends on two things.

1. If you are against an AD or and AP

2. Who you are playing. Some champions have horrible base HP and desperately need more. Some also really need mana regen seals.

I always go Armor or Mana regen unless I'm like Vladimir. With Vlad I'd get HP/level

Armor for minions / ad's

mana regen / lvl on champs who really need it

hp/lvl on champs who pose themselves in danger or are super squishy

armor runes : laning vs ad or vs heavy ad oriented teams since flat ad or mr are more health efficient then 175 hp u'd get from runes.
If teams are more ap or aoe oriented go for hp/lvl because u won't be that suiqhsy and u won't have to put all of your money into hp instead of ap.
Also if you expect alot of poke vs auto attack or even minions, take armor especially if u expect to have a hard laning phase. Also if you're mid, you don't have many armor build options so armor seals always come handy. Both of those runes are good and they mostly depend on your playstyle, armor would be better for early game agression( Gragas also but dunno if u play him, u have flair tho ^_^), hp scales better the longer game goes on tho but armor and magic resistance are more health efficient which means if u had 175 hp and 13 armor vs for example Talon u'd take less damage and be more durable with 13 armor, h's w alone does eg. 210 phys dmg and with arp runes if you don't have any armor, he'll shred u to 10-15 armor and u'd probably take even like 230-240 damage with only one spell and by then you 175 would not be stacked so armor runes definately win early game trades, even late game if u get some hp by buying hp items.

armor all the way since u are melee and if you're laning vs any ranged ap who is good player, he'll try to constantly poke you with AA and your shield isn't enough to sustain you from getting bullied and you might be forced to go back early which might lose you game.
