I'm fairly sure the new guy mentioned in these notes is our new Demacian Adc.

I'm fairly sure "Val" is the bird depicted on the 3rd Picture.
So maybe the AA's are interacted with the bird.

edit: riot probably realised that they have to slow down the rate of releases for two/three reasons
1. give time for normal players to get used to them
2. make balancing easier
3. invest in other additions, like items.

And it's been paying off.
Thresh a fresh breath compared to some of the newer champs before him. He was unique and offered something absolutely new to the field. I hope this chick does the same.
