Greatest Dominion Players

Kassadin is broken because of his teleportation, he is almost impossible to kill. I once saw a Kass teleport into a group of all 5 enemy champs, kill a guy, then teleport away. Heimerdinger is also very broken as is Rammus. Darius isn't even in the top 5. Both Shaco and Akali excel at 1v1 combat and have a way to easily start it. Shaco will [[deceive]] over a wall and get the jump on you. Akali will [[Shadow dance]] into you and shroud when she gets close. If you run, she's still got more charges to get to you as well as a Rylai's most likely. The fact is, they are "over powered" because they have extreme amounts of mobility and ways to start fights that [b]you will lose[/b]. Is Eve over powered because she has stealth? How about Twitch? Talon? No. They're strong because of other factors. Eve has her mobility, and again, she'll start fights you will lose. Same with Talon and Twitch. See a pattern here? Assassins will always be strong because they get the gold then need to assassinate without the weak laning phase to drag them down. They also get the [i]special alone time[/i] with their target so they can kill, and get away. While Darius doesn't need this exactly, he has a weak laning phase on SR due to lack of gold and mana. Both of these are remedied by dominion's mana regeneration aura and increased gold on spawn. This allows him to start with a [[brutalizer]], if he wants to kickstart his damage. If we were playing SR, we would have to deal with someone like Kayle, who directly counters everything you have at your disposal. Outrange your pull and Q while getting free damage. Now, because this is SR that we're talking about right now, you don't have the luxury of just leaving her to her business and going somewhere else. You have to deal with her countering you the entire time, and then you don't get the gold and the items that allow you to dominate. You probably won't even get levels. But, we shift to dominion, and that doesn't really matter anymore. You get gold for capturing points, you get increased gold just for being there. Hell, you even get exp for being there and you start out the game with a point in all of your skills if you want to. The point I'm trying to make here is that Darius is a snowball champion, and dominion gives him all the tools he needs to snowball without the risk of being shut down because of dominion's mechanics. Also, high Elo dominion will typically have 9/10 of the champions taking revive simply because of it's [b]strategic[/b] advantage. In Summoners Rift, we have a plethora of viable summoners. Sure most people take flash, but that, again, is for it's strategic flexibility. [[Flash]]->[[Bandage toss]]->[[Curse of the sad mummy]] to start a teamfight is just as strategic as "4 man top point because we need to take it" [[Flash]] to dodge that skillshot that would kill you, and you end up killing them, is just as strategic as sending an immovable object like Heimer or Maokai to bot lane and having them turtle that point for the entire match. Now, I'm going to [i]stop[/i] trying to explain so many important things in so many words because, you're not really listening to anyone and instead using your own anecdotal evidence to prove that "you are the best dominion player around" and everyone else is wrong. And, as a final point, play something other than Darius for a change and see how your scores fare. Play one of the "non-OP" champs for a while and tell me how much of a difference that makes. And before you say, "You don't play dominion very much," I've probably lost more games than you've played all together. And, I'm positive in that queue as well.[/quote]

Going 8/2/9 with 8 captures and finish rank 1. That doesn't make me look bad. Going 6/2/7 with 10 captures and finish rank 1. That doesn't make me look bad. Going 6/2/8 with 6 captures and finish rank 1. That doesn't make me look bad. Going 10/4/4 with 13 captures and finish rank 1. That doesn't make me look bad. Which other losses are you referring to? Can't really blame me for a lost when I finish the best, can ya? This would be more embarrassing for my teammates, than me.[/quote]
