Kind of old news that EA are screw overs. Dude just pirate their games. Honestly theyre the one company I support doing that to, they shut down alot of game companies I use to love so they could milk all their money. Vampiric bastards.
+1 redundant caucheka EA hate rant.

don't even pirate the games, just by playing any game with online DRM ur giving them statistics which they use to encourage use of future DRM, a concept which is a travesty inflicted on the modern gamer
When pirating games you'll likely be playing offline or LAN only :P
The online DRM is removed or circumvented so that the game is playable offline.
I'm not sure whether multiplayer works on the games, but they might be able to set up a server that people can use.

they forced a single player game to have always online drm to keep the 1% of pirates from getting the game, while simultaneously screwing over the 99% of legitimate buyers. also the pirates already cracked the game.
Those numbers are just wrong. Depending on the game there can be rates up to even 90% pirates and 10% customers. I'd guess numbers around 50% are more common though.
Still, the DRM is not affecting the pirates in the least while ****ing their legitimate customers up the ***.. Pirates are likely to have a better experience than the actual customers. That's ****ing pathetic and a business practice that I hope dies out soon.

Funny how they think any sort of protection is gonna protect them from piracy...these fools
E after reading the chatlog:
I had 3 customer supports so far in my life, now my question is...is EA just bad in that terms? Is this some cheap loan third-world worker that works from home or smthing? Is this a bot?

i remember a comic of a man with an innocent smile (representing ceo of ea at the time) while there was a billboard saying "EA is evil".
anyway, the world has been facing the problem of "i did this work, i demand/want compansation" -> "sorry, but it kinda sucks, i'm not paying you that much" -> "it's this or nothing" -> "fine, i'll get it for nothing". therefore, any "good" strategy is to force the product onto consumers (marketing, plis).
i think it's not worth it getting many of these new games, since the formula seems to be better graphics, not a better philosophy. I miss simcity2000.

for those who can't follow, they claimed you could request a refund yet when asked they won't offer one. yet those who bought the game over amazon can get refunds for it. you could go to your bank and basically get a refund for it, but if you do that ea will ban your account and take away all your games.

in fact, don't support ea. ever.
