so after taking a month long break, I'm back to playing solo queue and hopefully finally get out of platinum.

This game though, holy ****. Duo queuing bottom lane with Koksei.

Early game our lane was going pretty well. We were playing it pretty aggressively and we put Caitlyn behind a good 10~ cs early on. Meanwhile, our mid and top lane were dying over and over again, about once every minute.

Out bottom lane also took a turn for the worse when Lee Sin decided to join in on the fun. He pulled off 2 succesful lane ganks on us after I got hit by 2 Blitzcrank hooks I could have (and should have) easily dodged. Caitlyn picked up all the kills and our lane was looking pretty grim. Though a short while later, knowing all their summoner spells were down we made a nice play on Caitlyn giving me a double kill and the bottom tower. I was also ahead on farm at that point so even though we kind of messed up we still ended up winning the lane.

The rest of the game was pretty ****ed though. Top lane Singed was 1/6, mid lane Ryze was 1/8. Elise and Wukong were really strong and seemed to be snowballing the game out of control.

We attempted a few teamfights but lost them pretty hard every time with Wukong wrecking our back line with his ult. We lost our first inhibitor around 20 minutes in. The game seemed totally lost at this point and we were starting to lose hope.

About 35-40 minutes in the game, the enemy team started off Baron. We had no vision of the area but decided to go in anyway cause we didn't really have a choice. Having absolutely no clue what health Baron was at, I fired a random ultimate into the pit and actually got the blind steal. Having everyone there at the time now with a Baron buff, we engaged a fight and came out with 4 kills while only losing me to Wukong.

Still behind, we continued to play defensively and defend our inhibitors, but after another nicely engaged fight in which we came out ahead we started to gain momentum. We pushed to their base and took out bottom inhibitor.

With our bottom lane now pushing, we ran down mid as 5 and found a good oppertunity to towerdive them. At this point I had my full build completed and an exhausted Wukong couldn't really dent me anymore. We aced them 5 for 0 and ended the game.

Definitely one of the most exciting and fun games I've played in a while. The fact that it got me qualified (again) is what made this feel so good though.

Finally x_x Took the series with a clean 2-0.

Game 1: Our bottom lane was going really well. At 10 minutes we already had a 30 cs lead and getting some kills here and there. Our top lane was getting destroyed pretty hard but he still managed to keep up in farm. Mid lane was the main focus of ganks and was set behind pretty far as well.
In teamfights the bottom lane ended up making the difference. Ashe was really weak compared to me and we were able to make some good plays/pickoffs which turned the game in our favor. We took the game pretty easily after that.

Game 2: Really rough game. We couldn't play bottom lane because our third pick picked a support. He was pretty damn bad too, always making really aggressive plays but whiffing them and taking a ton of free damage in return. We got set behind pretty hard and with other lanes not doing too well either, the game wasn't looking good.
The only good thing about the game was that Twitch was really weak so we took advantage of that by forcing early teamfights. After one good teamfight where we killed their carries almost instantly, we turned the game around. The game was still really close but we were slowly getting further and further ahead as the teamfights went better and better. After we took Baron, we got engaged on in a really bad spot near the enemy blue buff, losing most of our Baron buffs and the first inhibitor of the game.
We stayed calm and managed to stay in control. We won the next teamfight and took another Baron after which we caught them in their jungle and ended the game shortly after.

o man this game.

by 25-30 minutes, this game was so far gone we didn't even consider the possibility of a come back and our Nasus was pretty much AFK out of frustration at this point. The only thing that kept us alive is the fact that our bottom lane went well.

We lost the first Baron at like 29 minutes without even thinking about contesting it. Every fight up to that point was 0-4, 1-3, 1-4 in their favor and their bruisers were getting huge.

34~ minutes in, the enemy team was pushing our second bottom turret. Their Baron buff had ran out and we were all there to defend it. I managed to poke down Jarvan to about half health and then baited him into an engage by overextending, E'ing his Q-E and flashing the Vi ult. Irelia jumped on me but with my Blade of the Ruined King, BT and LW completed and my barrier up, I killed her pretty quickly and started cleaning up the rest of the fight. We ended up winning the fight 3 for 2.

Just winning a fight, we got a sliver of hope so we got our **** together and moved to Baron to defend it. After poking a few of them down to half over the baron wall, Nasus ran in and managed to steal it. We immediately forced a fight on them and were able to pick of 3 of them (Jarvan, Irelia, Lulu) and straight up went mid to push down towers. We took the inner turret, the inhibitor turret and the two nexus turrets without any minions and because the enemy team was all about to spawn, we ran back. Unfortunately Nasus tried to stay to finish off the Nexus and got blown up.
All 5 of them then rushed down our mid lane as our inhibitor was exposed and caught Kha'zix who was carelessly recalling in the middle of the lane. Being 2 people down at this point we were pretty sure we had just lost the game again.
They killed our inhibitor instantly and started beating on our Nexus turrets. I was trying to deal as much damage to them as possible and managed to get a few of them low when Nasus respawned and ghosted in. We were able to chase them down and kill 4 of them.
With only Graves left standing to defend an open Nexus, we rushed down mid and finished the game.

I know I said this a couple of times in the past, but this is probably the hardest I've carried a team so far. Never give up in solo queue!
