Ignore my fist time Swain scores, as sexy as they are. ( I randomly decided to buy him, went into a normal game to try him out... and realized he's free this week )
This was kind of sad. I was going out at quarter past 4, so at half past 3 I decided I'd do a quick bot game to try Swain out. I haven't done ANYTHING other than ranked in ages, and out of habit, clicked ranked. I didn't notice until we were in champion select. Lose or leave, I would still lose approximately the same amount of LP, so I decided to roll with it.
I picked Kassadin into Akali, despite our 4th pick insisting Akali counters Kassadin ( he then picked Cho'Gath into Singed, and gave away first blood about 6 minutes in, no junglers involved ). At about 15 minutes in, I died to Akali because Vi and her tower-dived me while I was full HP, and as they were both also full HP, I died to Akali. ( Cho'Gath: So Kassadin counters Akali? I warned you ffs ) I managed to get a few kills ganking though, and just snowballed to the point where I re-gained the lead Akali got over me, and much further.
I eventually reached 13/3, but we were still actually losing in kills regardless. At that point, my friend came to pick me up 15 minutes early, so I gave my account details to my silver V friend and asked him to keep on playing for me, praying to god he'd be able to use the feed I'd given him to carry the game. As you can see, he killed twice and died twice, and then he lost. :x I asked him how.
I actually told our Taric about a minute before realizing I had to leave to get pink wards for Akali. Doubt he did.

Those are terrible on Kass.
If you were that fed it's better to go DFG/Hourglass.
Also Kass vs Akali is a pretty good matchup for Kass, you'll get zoned out for the first 3 levels then completely destroy her after 5.

^ I started off with Flask for mana sustainment so I could keep constant harass on Akali, and it's also cost efficient on ANY character that has mana and HP ( who doesn't have HP? ). And Liandry's is pretty strong on anyone, it's the Void Staff you get when they don't actually have MR, and does high damage on people with lots of HP.
And yeah, I figured it would be advantage Kass later on, and it was. :/
Such a fail game. I told everyone to invade and explained my plan, and everyone liked it and went into position for an invade, except for Jax, who hung back in our jungle demanding we don't invade. This caused him to die 1v5 when they invaded him, giving first blood to Leona. We gave up our plans for an invade, and went back onto our lanes. Or I thought anyway, but our Caitlyn died to the enemy team at our blue buff, apparently trying to steal it or something. She was 0/6 around 15 minutes in, so we just couldn't do anything.
Maybe I should just stick to Talon. :>
The game was lulworthy, I kept 1-shotting Ryze in laning phase. I told our last-pick, who I was trading with for him to get me Talon, to leave picking until the very last second, in an attempt to get Ryze to go on fb or something and not pay attention to who he was playing against, to get him not to pick armor runes. Either he didn't have any in the first place, or it worked. Even past his Glacial Shroud I could still 1-shot him thanks to the massive early-lead I had. They surrendered pretty early.

Ugh, this game was so bad. Trying to burst anyone in team-fights was suicide, they were too tanky to die, and I kept being slowed by anything during my ult, and when it ran out I was chased down and killed every time. I was 9/2 or something early-game, then died 3 times in a row to double silence whenever I tried to burst Ez.
Our Quinn rushed a Thornmail, and the enemy Sona had more gold than anyone our team excluding me.
I lost 15 ****ing LP for that. Wow.

CDR, flat ArPen and and 55 AD are just too good. If I feel like I don't need %ArPen I don't take LW, but Cleaver > Last Whisper. Not to mention a LOT of Talon's damage is AoE, so applying stacks to the entire enemy team is so strong. And with the CDR and blue buff my ult is on a 36 second CD.
And pls, if I were going to sell Brutalizer, I'd get something better than Infinity Edge. :P
