The new Dorans Shield could be nice if you are against a poky lane, like Draven/Lulu.
The passive makes their AA Poke less effectice, you get sustain and some cheap tankyness.
Situational, but good.

He's good anywhere due to the nature of his gimmick (as he can pull enemies into or out of teamfights). However, he lacks the natural damage output to actually kill stuff, even if you build AP, which is why I prefer his support utility.
