A friend and I were talking the other day about why Nasus is a beast and how many players don't respect him as one/know how to play him correctly. After a few games playing Nasus when I first bought him, I wanted to go to the middle. My team called me crazy, told me they hoped I died, etc. We won that game, I destroyed most of the enemy turrets alone, got the most kills and least deaths, and everyone was just in awe.
So, what are your opinions on Nasus? Personally I don't think he gets enough credit even though, if played correctly, and without any feeding, can be way overpowered.

Definitely needs to be played correctly. His ability to get insane momentum just by last-hitting really rewards learning how to do so. He's definitely a great tank, but not the best tank in the game, and is also a great damage dealer, but not the best damage dealer in the game either. Personally, I think a good player can create an amazing Nasus, what with the CC from his Wither and the nuke from his ulti and Spirit Fire.

Probably my favorite character in the game. That being said I think he's pretty damn overpowered.

Even with the crocs buff I can still beat one in a lane and a straight up fight. Therefore, Nasus is king.

He is so good if you can last hit properly. A free farming Nasus = GG.

I just started playing Nasus, and he's quite epic as a tank I must say. The enemy thinks their about to kill you, but then "Fury Of The Sands", and all the enemies used all their spells on you, and then comes you entire team to rape them together with you. He's just awesome ^^

I also usually play Nasus in the middle and I get similar results every time. It also is incredibly unpopular and often people choose to ignore my call of mid which is irritating to say the least.

I have tried to show friends how to get the same results and they struggle to duplicate them. I think a lot of success with him depends on Summoner play style, being incredibly educated on his limitations as well as your own, being willing to push hard then recall a LOT, smart item purchasing and PRACTICE. I figure that's what games with bots are for, right?

As for types of results, if I can stay patient and not get angry, I can easily stay 2 to 3 levels ahead of all others, not die at all and kill double the champions. And those are consistent.
