You mean for ward maps or something?
Could be possible, though it would need to have a code or something, to prevent light boxing banners or something, because thats rediculous :P
Seems not like an easy task for the administrators :P
Besides, I believe it adds little value towards the guides

Well, I think it could be used for gameplay chapters, which one has to add images that take space. With this setting, he could add multiple images in a row which a reader could zoom in anytime.
But yeah, maybe it doesn't serve much and it has little value for this to be implemented. I don't really know.

Also, the lightbox coding is for HTML, not BBCode. I'm not sure how easily a code could be implemented to convert it, though I assume pretty easily considering MobaFire has custom BBCodes.
I thought lightboxing was for low-powered forums and such, where people don't have the bandwidth for pictures to be fully loaded... ?
Yeah, this seems difficult and there are plenty of alternatives. You can use spoilers like meiyjhe suggested.
I usually just link the full-size image to the smaller image so if they click on it it will open a tab with the larger image. I believe this is more mobile friendly as opposed to lightbox as well (and mobafire kinda doesn't need to be more mobile unfriendly). Is this an ok alternative for you?

Thanks to GrandMasterD for my sig!
Implement highslide.
Well I will mention to the programmers people would like this functionality and if they do decide to implement it they will probably know which is the best fit.

I think it would be very useful for guides.
