I have to agree with this. I had noticed where a few people linked to their blog in some forums, but I didn't know they were very commonly used. Being able to look at OTGs tier list or similar blogs without having to dig would be great.
Well, if things start to get much better organized with these new features, and we see some really good blogs floating to the surface, we will be happy to promote the section more :) There is a blog list on the homepage but it's pretty low. We will be raising it higher on the homepage for better visibility, once things are all organized (today/tomorrow). Mowen is already reviewing authors and articles and I'm busy putting in fixes/tweaks :)
Unfortunately our sidebar and menus are already jam-packed, and those are the best places to promote content, so it's hard to feature anything else. That said, if we get some great blogs going, and things start getting interesting there, it would become a lot easier to promote it over other features of the site :)
You also have your blog linked from your comments, if you have one. Under your avatar, if you post in your blog, you'll have an extra Blog link there.

Shuru, yes, once we have the featured blogs organized and rolling, we'll likely default it to that tab, and also limit the homepage box to featured articles (and bump it up on the page). Right now it's full of off topic articles anyways, will sort that out.
Ideally, everyone with the power to do so, will be checking for new, good, on-topic posts, and bumping them to featured :) Which would mean anyone interested in purely high quality game-related posts, wouldn't need to look past the featured tab, but those looking to read more into the community would click over to the "Latest" tab.

I really like this idea, it's even got me started to write blogs. I think reorganizing them is going to do a lot of good things, especially if you find a way to promote the fact that they exist. to be honest, for the longest time i didn't even know I could go to a spot with blogs from players, i thought I just had to stalk other people to read them.

I tried to open throatslasher's tier list blog post and it keeps opening into nothing. I tried his second blog post and it did the same. However, I had opened one of OTG's yesterday and it worked fine. Will edit this if I find anymore.
Edit: Same for every blog post I try. For example, Satella's Armor Pen Math blog post which i had opened before. Anyone else having problems or is it just me?
Edit2: So I copied and pasted the address from Chrome into firefox and the blog post loads XD

@OTGBionicArm, yes I adjusted the tab so that it won't automatically include "Listed" articles by featured authors. Now, featured author articles are not automatically included in the featured tab. Instead, featured authors have a dropdown when editing/posting an article where they can choose whether or not to feature it. This way you can decide which of your articles you want to or don't want to feature :)
