Views: 7526 Champion Idea: Komachi, Ferry of the Departed Souls

A treat to the other Touhou fans out there. I was bored so I made one of the characters into a champion.

Komachi - Ferry of the Departed Souls

Exorcism (Passive):
(Innate) Komachi gains 75 bonus autoattack range with each additional autoattack, up to a maximum of 225. Every fourth basic attack strikes nearby enemies for 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 (+0.6 total attack damage) additional physical damage, and knocks enemies back a short distance. This resets the bonus autoattack range to zero.

Scythe of the Reaper (Q):
(Active): Komachi channels for 1 second to swing her scythe, generating a spiritual image that cleaves enemies in a wide circular arc. The area of effect will glow during the channel. Autoattacks reduce the cooldown of Scythe of the Reaper by 1 second.
Range: 400min, 1000max
Missile speed: 2200
Missile width: 100
Cooldown: 11 seconds
Physical Damage: 65 / 110 / 155 / 190 / 245 (+0.9 bonus attack damage)

Lonely Bound Spirit (W):
(Passive): Komachi gains 0.1% lifesteal and spellvamp for each unit she kills.
(Active): Releases a wisp that homes in on the nearest enemy champion with 250 speed. The wisp will deal magic damage to the enemies on the area upon detonation, and leave behind a zone which slows enemy movement for 2 seconds upon contact. The wisp will detonate itself after 6 seconds or it can be detonated early by Komachi. Casting this spell does not interrupt movement.
Cooldown: 10 seconds upon cast
Max Range: 1500
Diameter of AoE: 450
Slow: 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60%
Magic Damage: 80 / 150 / 220 / 290 / 360 (+0.6 per ability power)

Boat on the Sanzu (E):
(Passive): Komachi gains 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 movement speed.
(Active): Komachi jumps backwards 150 units and hops on her boat, traveling forwards at a speed of 550 for up to 1650 units, dealing physical damage to units in her path. If she strikes an enemy champion, the champion is knocked back slightly and Komachi jumps off the boat in front of them, dealing this physical damage again upon landing. Can be reactivated during travel to stop movement. Komachi can use all of her abilities while the boat is in motion.
Cooldown: 20 / 19 / 18 / 17 / 16 seconds

The range of this effect is equal to her autoattack range. She is also granted the ability to use Taste of Death once for the duration.
Cooldown: 170 / 110 / 50 seconds
Duration: 15 seconds
Taste of Death (R):
(Active): Komachi swings her scythe at target enemy champion. If the enemy champion has more health than her, deals up to 50% of the difference in health as true damage to the enemy champion, healing her for the same amount. If the enemy champion has less health than her, deals a flat amount of damage instead.
Minimum true damage: 180 / 315 / 450 (+1.0 per ability power)

How balanced does this sound? If she were released, what role would you play her in and why?
I am (kinda) well known on the league of legends champ concept forum for giving people reviews and help for their champions :3. I shall now reviews yours. Spoiler: I am very to the point.
Passive: I really love the increased range part :3. There are very few champion that have autoattack ranges between 175 and 400 so this makes your champion already a little unique :3.
The increased damage thing on every 4th attack is okay too :P. I think the knockback on it is really unnecessary and makes no sense. An uncontrollable knock back? Knock backs and known for being able to help the enemy team instead of your team.... if your knock back is barely controllable ... it's even worse. What if I'm chasing an enemy? Why would I want to knowck him BACK (away from me) AND also lose range on my attacks? I don't think she should lose range and knock the enemies away after 4th hit :p.

W: I love the passive :P. Another infinitely scaling champion to the league ;P.
the active, I don't know. The wisp being uncontrollable and moving at a 250 movespeed rate is a rather bad idea imo lol. The only time where you could make this spell reliable is when the enemy is literally standing right on top of you... Otherwise it would be really really easy to just dodge the wisp's slowing trail lol. Maybe increase the movement speed on it? Or make it controllable? or both?!
E: I dislike this passive :(. Your champion already gets a lot of free stats from passives... free MS is very dangerous.. especially on a champion like yours
The boat thing is cool too xP. Just make sure your champion doesn't have two knockbacks or else it's kind of redundant.
R: I love the first active ;P. Does the extra 70% of your AD damage also affect your primary target? I suggest lowering the numbers at earlier ranks and making the ultimate's cooldown less dramatically high o.o
I really doubt the second part is balanced lol. 450 true damage + 450 heal as a MINIMUM seems pretty stupidly strong to me lol. Imagine if you have 500 HP left and the enemy has 3500 HP. Oh god. 1500 true damage and 1500 heal. wat lol. Maybe set a maximum amount as well? And lower the minimum the damage/heal ? xD
LOL 100% AP RATIO ON A TRUE DAMAGE ABILITY + HEAL. TROLOLOLOL AP KOMACHI INCOMING :D. Leave it like that pls :3
Overall very interesting champion that makes sense and would have a place in league imo. Well done.
