Quite obviously if you build a standard AP build on Ryze you're gonna get owned. After you get your tear (unupgraded!!!) and RoA, you can concentrate on building defensive items while still enjoying a steady increase in damage without building more offense. That's what makes Ryze so powerful.

i just finished the game. to make it short, the items are ****. the standart Ryze build (=the items riot recommneds) outdamage this build(when i have seraph's embrace with a standart build, i can drop a minion with one q so low that he is pretty much at lasthit health. with this build i still have about half to 1/3 health left.) a replay is currently uploaqding for anyone interseted (i was on a lvl 7 smurf and played more or less like **** :D)
edit: apperently lolreplay hates me. i can't upload the replay nor can i open it myself.

before i start my game, just one more thing about the guide: for summoner spells, you should also say something about other summoner spells(why don't you take them/when do you take them): Teleport, Exhaust, Heal, Barrier, Cleanse. the rest is so unviable that you don't need to say anything about it.

i will try this build tomorrow for the fun of it.(i will change some things though, but in the end the build will prohably be the same if the game lasts long enough)

trust me, flash is waaay better than ghost on Ryze. when you get caught 1v5, you will most likely be instakilled. with ghost you have no chnace of escaping, with flash you might survive. the only situtaion where i would pick ghost over flash is when you teleport + homeguard behind an enemy who is prettty fast( Janna, Hecarim).

Fast tear is correct, then it all goes downhill from there...

Wrong. Mastery tree is also wrong. Artificer but no active items? Takes Ignite/ Ghost but no Summoner's Wrath ?

The masteries are the only decent thing in this guide. See if you can:

• add some coding. If I can do it on my phone, you can on your comp.
• change your items.
• expand your sections.

ryze is a caster, true.
ryze needs lots and lots of ap like veigar and akali, false.

ryze needs mana. he only needs mana! also that is a defining trait why an enemy veigar can't burst you with his ulti because a well built ryze has less than 300 AP.
