so, even though there is a philosophy to play like you enjoy, you just feel like ignoring the potential advantage the other side gets, let it be when you can balance it out by laneswapping and wait for riot to do all the work because you can't be bothered to be in another lane?
also, if you know they have an andvantage, can't you force a more passive game, by not trying an agression you already know is overhwelming against you?

Am I the only who has more of a gripe about the vision angle of purple side rather than the actual mechanical effects of it? :/
Oddly, I prefer the vision angle of purple. I think it's because on blue side I feel like I am looking up at my enemies, whereas on purple I am peering down on them. I like to be above others :3
[edit] The again, I'm really weird about sides. When I was raiding in WoW I absolutely had to be on the left side of the room most of the time. Not only did I feel uncomfortable on the right, but I played generally worse. Although there were some exceptions. I always had to be on the front right side of airship in the Madness of Deathwing. I tend to prefer standing towards the upper bush in the midlane, which seems somewhat analogous to the left side of the raid encounter room.
I never said I ignore my opponents' advantage(well not always d:), it's just some pain in the *** to deal with. laneswapping in soloq is troublesome for a good amount of reasons, so I never even consider that. Sure you can play passively, but it's not easy to farm as, let's say, vayne and leona supporting you, if there's a cait and a lulu on your *** with a full level advantage. 95% of my games this week were purple side. Enemy bot lane always did golems and what I did was just push hard from lvl 1. Sharing big wolf exp with your jungler is also a great idea as it helps out a lot.
i keep my hud small so it doesn't really bother me either way and both sides do have advantages like the top laner on purple having easier access to red. i main top and jungle and i prefer purple side for top and blue for jungle. i just find it better to jungle on blue side but that is most likely just me :P

if you insist on

i said you, but i really meant the majority of botlane players. some don't even take advantage of taking golems, so i still think it's a false-matter.
other than that, would any of you consider an extra camp between blue and the outer turret?

for Purple it seems that I do better on Purple
I know that first 'Purple' is supposed to be 'top', but I still lol'd.
@ Pheyniex
How do you "force" a more passive game against, let's say, a

The Golems problem can be solved by making them spawn at 2:10 or 2:20 so if Blue side decides to take them they will get problems in lane
Still Baron is easier to check in the purple side while Dragon is easier to check on blue side
And i find ganks easier to do in the blue side for some reason

Gave you a good laugh or helped? rep+ so i can know ;)

Elohell is like Irelia's stun: if your real level is equal or lower than the level you are in, you're STUNNED there forever. If your actual level is higher than the level you are in, you're just SLOWED in your way up.
Heres my

I do agree that making them spawn later will help but blue side bot lane will still have the advantage as they can kill golems after every 3rd wave(cannon minion) without losing any cs at all.
