Brewmaster takes some knowledge of the game. You need to know stuff like items and abilities and what they do. His skill cap is raised higher by the fact that his ultimate requires a lot of micro.
I have non of these qualities. I will try and give him a few more tries and see if I get lucky with him, especially since I love his character. That master drunk guy who has a lot of swashbuckling fun but at the same time shows dedication and what he does. This is very evident when he blurts out stuff like "For Yoy and Oyo" and it just sounds so cool. So I will try again with him since you say he is really strong.

I didnt feel the need to micro at all. I know the other spirits had like other abilties or some ****, but all of them have to die for him to die anyway. Plus the green one (the one thats out first anyway) has a stun, and thus is OP. I barely knew what I was doing and he felt OP as hell.
Yea, when I played, the green spirit always took control first, and it has the stun. Didnt care to figure out the other ones until the green one died. Since they go through rotation as they drop anyway, it didnt bother me not to micro them, especially because they are essentially free health bars to brewmaster.
Is Dota 2 very similar to HoN? Because a while after I started playing League I bought HoN, played a few games and never opened the program again. I just hated it too much for many different reasons. Although it might have been because I was too used to LoL.

Most people who start out in DOTA 2 after playing LoL are probably going to hate it because it feels different.
That's the sad reality. It's a good game but you just won't like something this archaic and different from lol unless you really put effort into it.
I've played 80 games so far and it's really fun, but again, you have to stick to it.

It's not only the actual game that I didn't like when I tried out HoN like a year and a half ago, but (i don't know if it's still like this) the game would match me with players with like 500 wins (experienced players im saying) from the start. I barely even knew what those stats were (intelligence, strength and agliity i think)(I played WC3 before) and it would place me against players that knew what to build and all that and that wanted to report me for being bad even though it was my first few games. Also I hate the abilities and those stats. But the main reason I don't think I liked HoN is that it was just too different from LoL. I don't think I was even level 30 when I bought HoN. I won't buy DotA because I don't think I will be able to like it without adapting to it, in which case I might stop liking LoL

After talking to Luther a while back i decided to check how it is around here. And what is the first that catches my eyes? A lovley topic about Dota 2.
So lets get some point clear from the beggining. League of legends is Easier and more casual. Nothing wrong with that mind you but it is a fact. Second they are different games really. So you can't say one is better than the other (Even though Dota is better pure feature wise and on a pure technical level).
First of... Yes the Dota 2 community is general more nice and better. Why? Well it is a multy layered answer. First we have the fact it is not open to the public yet, yes it is incredible easy to get a hold of a key but it still takes some effort from the players part. Because of this there will be less (almost only kids) just jumping into it for a quick try. Add onto that the fact there is no ingame currency or real rankings into the game, people are more interested in having a good game than winning. ANd finnaly the more complex nature of the game means that it will attract an more adult playerbase by default.
And what is this Unresponsivness i hear about? Have you all been playing against Bat rider or what? It is called Turning animations people.
But yeah i might come back and rant more later.

She is very flexible since you can play her as a semi-carry or lane support and cc.
