Hey guys, so I started playing the game a few months ago, and I've tried every single role except jungling. I want to learn how to jungle, and I don't know which champion to start with.
My summoner level is level 18, and I have these champions: Ashe, Twisted Fate, Varus, Cho'Gath, Kha'Zix, Soraka, Alistar, and Shen...
I also have over 10k IP so I'm open to buying champs. Again, I've never jungled before, so any tips are welcome :)

Out of the champions you listed, Cho'Gath is your best bet.

If you want to buy a jungler, you could go for Nunu & Willump, Warwick, Trundle, maybe Fiddlesticks. Amumu or Nasus might work, but I haven't played them without runes or full masteries.

Overall I would recommend trying out Cho'Gath, then buy Nunu & Willump, Warwick or Trundle if you want to try someone else. Save some IP and get as many Greater Seal of Armors as you can fit in your rune page when you hit level 20, they'll help a lot.
Thanks to The_Nameless_Bard for the sig!

You can Jungle with Fiddlesticks with out any runes at level 11ish just make sure you have the right Masteries, I learned Amumu as my first jungler at around level 29, but Cho'Gath is a good start, Nunu & Willump is also good because he can get health back in the jungle if you make a mistake

I suggest you watch some of Stonewall008's videos on youtube for jungle guides, commentaries. He's pretty good videos in which he explains basic things about jungling, but has also specific videos for champions.

for your 10k ip i suggest buying the runes you will need for your lvl 20. to complete my 2 sets of rune pages took me to lvl 18 to 30 and even a little bit after that. runes are a long road and whatever you managed to save up will make a huge impact in your game. As for your jungler... i'll have to admit with some of the comments above Cho'Gath will be your best bet! good luck and have fun!

I'd say get Trundle. Once he gets a couple of levels on Q and W, dat **** cray. Very straightforward gameplay, easy to learn. Only his pillar placement has a high skill cap but it won't affect ganks that much at low levels, because you can cover ground very fast with his AoE ice ring and some people will just stand and fight... which will be stupid because you're a troll with a ridiculous steroid and a nasty bite.

If you don't want to buy, go for Cho'Gath and become godzilla. Very fun and safe.

Also, save IP for when you hit lv20 and get those armor and MR runes. Helps a lot. Also, MS quints for junglers are very good.

I can just tell you what I went with.. Started with Warwick (he has GREAT sustain), moved to Master Yi (AD-oriented), and now I'm working on Nocturne and Diana. All except Diana are auto-attack oriented, so they're not too difficult to pick up and play.

In addition to that, it'll be good to pick up some yellow armor seals, blue scaling MR runes, red auto-attack% runes, and flat AD quintessences. This will give you a faster clear time and more sustain in the jungle. Good luck!

My jungle experiance is rather limited, i can do it. Just not very well. I'm more of a Mid than anything. I'd say Jungle is my fall back role if anything...

Anyway, I'd say Warwick is pretty good for getting to grips with the role, as well as Fiddlesticks as they can both heal themselves, leaving you no excuse to be at near full health.

But i'd also say that Zac is good for learning, although he is pretty expensive (I bought him with real money because he was cool as **** looking the day he came out) he does have an awesome ganking ability with his Slingshot to a Bounce and he heals himself with every skill he uses, which can be improved with buying a Spirit Visage early. He's more of a tanky jungle like Amumu or Rammus. So dont expect to be killing all the the time.

Cant go wrong with buying Warwick though, i've noticed that Runes make a bit of a difference so it's best to start buying them tier 3 runes when you get to level 20. I dont think i could recommend this but you can always buy the tier 1 runes to cover all your available rune slots, and then improve them one by one to tier 3's but, i don't think i could recommend that.

Really, from personal experiance anyway, I learned the jungle much more with Zac, i want to use Diana though because she looks like she's designed to kill more than Zac who is more about Tankyness and disabling your enemys long enough for your friends to kill them for you.

Thanks guys, great responses... right now I'm level 20, and I have spent most of my IP and completed my available rune slots with tier 3 runes :) I think I'm going to start with Cho'Gath :)
