Do yall think a tanky Warwick would be more beneficial to the team? Any tips/hints on playing with Warwick(vids would be nice)? So many idiots telling me to initiate a teamfight...

Try looking up a build on this site, I'm sure there's a 'TANKWICK' build somewhere on here...

AS - HP/AR/MR tankwick is an option but imho dps one is tanky enaugh and way more deadly... Just play a bit more carefully. Taking 2 in some situations even 3 ppl solo as DPS WW is nothing new.

See my guide for tankwick. I'll probably be updating the guide description soon.. In a competitive match with good players vs. good players (hard to find these days) tank warwick is a must. When playing Warwick in a 5v5 match a good team will always focus you first for fear of you wiping their whole team as you excel in picking players off 1 by 1. If you play DPS you lack survivability and will die very quickly when 5 players are outputing all their damage on you. You should be iniating every fight with your ultimate, which is why you should be tanky enough to do so.

Bloodrazor gives you more than enough damage to wipe a carry in mere seconds. Being able to not get facemelted when jumping in a fight far outclasses being able to wipe out a carry 2-3 seconds faster.

i think the usual dps warwick build is tops^^ so why go tankwick? the idea of warwick is to pick off clumsy opponents and that you should be able to do before the rest of the team comes to help their mate. This strategy can lead to early barons and safe dragons, because forcing a 4v5 is rarely a bad thing to do^^

WW should never initiate! He should save his ult for when shen ect have taunted. Then he can ult the champion that is trying to run away or is doing the most damage.

I always lol when I see a ww initiate because he just gets interrupted and owned.

I also tend to take flash so I can ult someone, and if the fit hits the shan then I can flash back to my team.

Clever.

Anyways, tankwick was mentioned before, but to be honest pretty much every champion nowadays grabs some form of survivability. In this case, WW grabs some items with incredible on-hit effects (most of the time Madred's Bloodrazor) to get a bunch of extra damage on his Infinite Duress. After that building heavy defense is probably best, but I think tanky DPS can easily be progressed after that with some cleverly bought items.
