Well as a non-GP player, I cant help you witht he fundamentals but early game is all about items and map control for me. I do like your off-tank play though so try to figure out where you can go from there with the proper items and route to get the most out of his sustain.

Hope that helps

hey there,
i really liked your guide, i started playing ranked TT yesterday, and my team is in bronze I tier (4 wins - 1 lose).
currently, our strongest picks are gankplank, lee sin and kennen.
we play the 1-1-1 style, and i always play the jungle role.
mostly games i go for gankplank jungle, building an off-tank/bruiser, getting some items like muramana, iceborn gauntlet and statikk shiv.
what do you think about it? and do you have any advice for a better early game with gankplank? cuz im too much and this is harming the game

thanks

Still wondering why this isn't at a higher rating than 68% it is a really good guide. Keep up the good work! +1 from me!

I just tried out Mid yesterday, and I do suck with her, but she did give great vision and presence of the enemy team. Easily able to stop relic invades and ganks because of traps vision.

Aseafy and TehAsian,

I think that you both have good points as well as gave me ideas for things that I didn't include cause I just was like "oh they got that." Hopefully the update will make you both happy. (Or so I can try to hope)

The first teams are the one's that aren't as consistent. They will not be first when the end of the season comes around.

Khazix is broken right now, either picked or banned. All the top teams are picking him up as a jungler.

^Nid is most broken in high level TT play, not Kha.

Permanent vision on enemy jungler while you chuck spears at them whenever they try to Wraiths or Wolves.

Pick a counterjungle heavy jungler and you basically completely shut down the enemy jungle.

The first Challenger 3v3 team actually used this strat to get up there :p

A lot of this is wrong simply because you haven't played at a higher level of twisted treeline, which is perfectly fine because I actually do more watching than playing, seeing as I'm not on that "higher level of play" myself. But here are the main pointers.

The first thing you did wrong was designate a team composition that achieves a certain goal. The whole point of twisted treeline is NOT to do this, but instead take your time to counterpick properly. Why? Because in the twisted treeline it is so easy to move around, so even if you aren’t starting the game in the same lane as the enemy you counter, you will be able to lane swap / gank him soon. However, it still isn’t impossible to think of a strategy beforehand, you may have some difficulties here and there, but you can do well if it works out. You should then, make a list of bans for those strategies that hard counter them.

Your champion picks are all weird as well. Rammus is one of the worst junglers if not the worst on this map because he is so easy to invade. Same with alistar. They are even worse because they barely do any damage. While this doesn’t matter that much on summoner’s rift, it is EXTREMELY easy to counter gank on this small map and you will shortly be facing yourself in a 2v2 with an extremely weak duelist.

You definitely overestimate Nunu with the added tier list (from others opinions). he’s strong, sure. But he’s not as strong as champions like zyra, kha’zix or wukong. Which brings me to the tier list. Garen is not a tier 1 bruiser because once he is counterpicked (to a certain extent, aka if he doesn’t stomp his lane), he becomes more and more useless in comparison to the enemy laner. He is definitely a strong pick, but only occasionally. Olaf is pretty trash, because he falls off really hard now. Corki is not a tier 1 adc, because his escape is very slow and he can’t really kite as well as ezreal or draven after he uses it (draven should be tier one cause he’s draven.)

A major problem is Kha’zix. He’s freaking broken right now and arguably the best champion in this map. He belongs in tier 1 at the minimum, as a jungler. The resets are just broken and he can get places so quickly. Isolation damage is so easy to have on the enemies. Looking down at tier 5, I do not understand nocturne and volibear. They are both very strong, and stronger than maokai. They are around the same strength as hecarim and xin zhao as well.

Jayce, Vi and Renekton definitely need to go up in the tier list because they are some of the strongest bruisers in the game right now, with renektons dominance early on, and Vi’s crazy base damage. Jayce has always been pretty broken. Gragas, Kayle, and Syndra are all stronger than many of the champions in tier 2 like ziggs and kennen. (especially kayle, she has one of the strongest late game damage for an ap carry that pretty much literally melts all the enemies.)

Just the main points and thoughts after my first run-through. You can choose to use it or not, good luck!
