Runes are wrong. 9 Scaling AP glyphs at lvl 18 is still just 27.5, I'd recommend MRes Glyphs or Flat AP if you want but not scaling ones.

Seals are better for armor than it is for MRes, your Mres seals only gives you an additional 6.66 mres.

Items are OK aside from gunblade, too expensive and you gain so little after the spell vamp part.

Perseverance points should be move to Durability and Veteran's Scars , it's more helpful to you having those HP than minute HP Regen.

Since you have Ignite, move 1 point from Havoc to Summoner's Wrath .

The whole guide lacks explanation regarding rune choice, mastery, item choice and ability explanation making this guide very incomplete.

What ability exactly do you max? somewhere along the match up gives me the impression you max Q but your cheat sheet said W. You should also explain that, when and why should you max Q or W over the other.

Wrong runes, short and unfinished guide.

Seems passable to me. I don't like some of the choices like rylais and gunblade, but this build is passable. have an upboat.

Your masteries and runes need tweaking. Consider armor seals and MR glyphs for a balanced start, and AP quints. MS quints are kind of moot if you always keep your E off cooldown and a ward in your inventory for quick escapes.

Also, you SHOULD max W first, you're correct, but in rare circumstances I max Q 1st, if I'm against someone I can't approach but really want to harass, I sometimes put like 3 points in Q and then max w.

i think [Liandry's torment] is a viable item against tanky team, but you can also sell [haunthing guise] late game if you want something else

Hextech Gunblade isn't good on Katarina because of the ad ratio nerfs that decreased ad ratio with like 2.0(?). Actually, any kind of spell vamp is "bad" on Katarina these days. She has three AoE abilities and only one single target ability which doesn't deal too much damage. You'll only waste money.


Another thing is that you probably want to get some actual early damage instead of Liandry's Torment. It isn't too good item either.

3. Add some more coding


Scaling AP isn't a great option. I would recommend Greater Mark of Magic Penetration and Greater Glyph of Magic Resist, though I think opinions differ on the glyphs, seals and quints.
