why it's one of my favorites! I saw one review give 5 stars then turned around and saw another review give 1 stars for the exact same reasons as the five star review XD, not for everyone but by far one of the best as far as art style's at fluid art directions goes as far as changing from one medium to another.

It's not that good.
The animation is terrible and there's a lot of "OH SO RANDOM" (aka purple dishwasher monkey) humor and a lot of "miss" humor as well.
Excel's rants are rarely funny either, but do serve to highlight how ludacrisly fast that VA can talk, it's pretty impressive.

it's hard to keep up with some dialogues/monologues, and sometimes gets a bit tiring, but to me that's its strenght.
i also noticed you are not a very humorous person, so it fits your description.
and i'll bring back Metropolis, since excel saga has plenty of overdramatization.
