Please, remove Runaan's Hurricane from your item list. Phantom Dancer is a much more efficient investment. It gives you Crit while Runaan's doesn't, some movement speed and roughly a similar Attack Speed.

Also, you don't run any Armor Penetration items. That is bad for an ADC, against a tanky team your DPS output will be vastly reduced.

Last Whisper is core in any ADC build for lategame.

Another itemization mistake: you run two lifesteal items (which I suppose are to replace the Penetration item). I see the reasoning behind this: you think you'll LS a lot more together with Spirit Visage, but you actually HEAL LESS because your damage against high Armor targets is much lower.

So, remove Bloodthirster from your item build. Blade of the Ruined King is superior in most games and synergizes well with an Infinity Edge following.

Please assume that the enemy does the only decent thing to do when playing against a tristana; they get a decent tank who's one and only job it will be to sit on you until either you or he dies. He will keep you out of the fight unless you can't deal with him.

Lets assume you play against a Malphite who takes up a Randuin's Omen and Frozen Heart, and for god's sake, a Thornmail and puts an Ignite on you just for good measure. Please adjust your primary build - the cheat sheet build everyone sees - so it fits this scenario.

You don't need APen runes, you need a Last Whisper. Not as a situational item, but always. I see NO one rushing Warmog's Armor in my games. And concerning Huricane - yes it's a wonderfull item on Tristana - but no, its not worth sacrificing an item slot you could fill with a Phantom Dancer.

This Season may have brought many fancy new items, but Tristana is one of the few champions that did not change her build because of that. - - - - -[def] is still unnegotiable. There may be situations that call for situational items, but change your cheat sheet, please.

Indeed you're right. It DOES cripple damage output by a lot..... IF and only IF the other team has some built-in armor.
Mainly in the new meta, people rush the Warmog's Armor and think themselves gods of the Olympus. Whenever I see someone with a dam* brain on the other side, building up armor or a simple Thornmail i go for armor penetration asap to try countering him.
Considering enemy items I played against when i made this guide, it was just... "useless" for 30% of nothing, is nothing as well.

You even pointed out that my cheat sheet has no a.pen. Check out item list part. Or at least n# 6.
All my items are situational. They all depend on the enemy teams composition. Items 4, 5 and 6 i talk about
4. AS/Crit items
5. Bloodthirster / Blade of the Ruined King
6. Other situational choices.

Well written and very in-depth guide. There is only one big issue: Your build (cheat sheet at least) has no Armor penetration and only a small amount of crit chance per default. Thats unacceptable for an AD carry, both these stats are just incredibly important for your DPS. While hurricane is nice for multi target damage, it severly cripples your single target DPS (about 80% I would say). Why all this attack speed on a champion that has a high base attack speed and the biggest AS steroid in the game ? You waste money here!
