Well, actually, my idea was for the community to crowd-source/write a guide. So it wouldn't be "your" guide, meaning you wouldn't have an "about the author" section. People would contribute their ideas, write a little bit if they wanted to, and then the guide would be put together by you as the facilitator.
Yeah, of course you want it to be your guide, but I'm suggesting removing all onus of the content from yourself. It will be under you name, so people know you've coded it etc. But the information inside would be from people who are, for example, high elo and know absolutely what they're talking about.
In this guide I would like to see an in-depth explanation of why supports ward and how to do it correctly. It's not about putting a ward in every possible brush, and I think it's something that no support guide yet (even those scouted) have covered in as much depth as it should be.

So, you're saying you want a guide which has high-elo information about supporting.
You remember Astrolias support supplementary?
I was lining up to release a support for every champion that I knew how to play.
Would you want it for
Lulu, or for every support?

This is something I'd really like to see. At the moment I mostly just try to keep vision on high traffic areas and objectives, plus things like stopping fiddle or hecarim ults. It's always nice to know they have no vision on baron when you've just seen their ADC and support heading to bottom through a jungle, or to start a pink war and bait some kills, but I'd like to step up my game, a lot of the good stuff just eludes me, I can't think what to do.
That said, would it not be more suitable for a standalone support guide? It seems like a pretty big resource that anyone who's looking to learn more about supporting should look at, not just those wanting to learn Lulu.

We used to have a general support guide for that. Thats a general knowledge thing. I dont think you HAVE to talk about ward placement in a support champion guide. Afterall, its a guide about the champion, not warding.
Veng: I think that authors on MobaFire should have a few guides on champions they love to play, not heaps of guides on every champion they play.
Kinen: I'm thinking that I could make a thread/Q&A about warding, compile it all, and put it in the wiki. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure why we don't have a section on Warding. It'd be a great universal supplement to guides, as you'd be able to BBCode "Warding" and have the information able to all.
Thoughts?

OTG: The guide isn't just about the champion, it's about the role they play in the game too. If the role is support, you have to talk about the support rule, and a key aspect to the support role is giving vision to your team, and denying enemy vision.
You don't write a jungle Nocturne guide without discussing the mechanics of jungling. You don't write a top lane Jayce guide without discussing the mechanics of playing top lane.
Just like you shouldn't write a support X guide without discussing the mechanics of supporting.

So, I published my lulu guide about 36 hours ago, and sadly, it did not come out as I expected. Because all the flaws were pointed out to me, I've only just realised now how many there actually were. Not only for the Lulu guide, but for my other ones as well.
So, today, I'm asking for some assistance. I'd like if you could look over it before you make a suggestion, please. It can be found here.
Now, Jhoi made a statement which basically summed up what I am doing. I'm writing this guide on how I don't play lulu.
Everything I wrote was "wrong". Everybody has to play the same way or they're criticised. But, sadly, that's how it has to be.
Let's begin.
What runes would you like to see?
Would you prefer 1/13/16 or 0/13/17 masteries?
What core item would you prefer after boots / ruby sightstone?
What would you like my starting items to be?
What else would you like to see in the gameplay section?
Any other suggestions?
You guys weren't satisfied with what I had to write, so I'm going to be asking for what you want to see. This'll give me a better understanding of what I've wrong, aswell as improving my playstyle.
Thanks guys!
