It is an epic series, the music is brilliant, the characters are intriguing and unique, the plot works really well throughout and the ending...believe me the ending is right up there in anime history as one of the best ever.
Seriously WATCH IT!!!
I'm just gonna disagree and say that it's not as good as some make it out to be, to give a more balanced view of the series

I reckon I might like the noir part but I don't have high expectations for the whole cowboy thing, I used to like cowboy stuff but that was before my friend spammed me with every clint eastwood cowboy movie ever.
If I have helped in anyway at all a +rep will be appreciated lots

Thanks to LaCorpse, Hogopogo and JhoiJhoi for the amazing sigs
^ So good.
Anyone else disliking English dub's ? Generally speaking of course.
The one and only English dub I have ever enjoyed was Alucard's voice. End of the story.
I don't mind the subtitles, if the voices are generally just so bad. I rather listen
to original voice actors then.

Aside from that, I'm not a fan of AMVs or whatsover, but I came across one of the sickest Monogatari Series editing I've ever seen.

uhhh its not really an eastwood movie at all. no spaghetti western...it just has elements of it. one dude rocks a katana...don't think that is very eastwood.

I feel like this is a pretty good watch.
I agree with most of it, but I do not - like he does - love the tropes and strange characteristics of many anime. I feel like I could do without those.
I personally would like for it to get bigger, so that I can feel less awkward starting a conversation about manga or anime in real life.
"I saw [Twilight: Eclipse] in theaters with a girl I was dating at the time. I spent more time staring at my toes and wiggling them than I did watching this abomination. When Edward proposed to Blank Face, I finally looked up with a revelation.
I blurted out loud, in a dead silent theater full of teenage girls on opening night "Wait a minute, Edward has no blood flow. How does he get an erection?" I heard several men laughing, and had several girls turn and stare at me.
I did not get laid that night." - Berengier817
