Wut...

In a thread of dumb comments, you sir take the cake.

Maokai isn't especially mana hungry when you compare him to several meta junglers such as Nasus and Fiddlesticks.

I never see Fiddle in the jungle (support yes, jungle I haven't seen in forever). Since when is he meta?

Other than that, though, I'll accept when I'm wrong. Thanks for the info, but I would appreciate it if you could be a little less vitriolic in your posts. I actually like people correcting me when I'm wrong, because it helps me to improve at the game, but comments like "you sir take the cake" both make it harder to have a civil discussion and make someone feel bad for attempting to contribute to the discussion. If you want to correct me, feel free, but I prefer to not be insulted when you do so.

ETAB***: Also, if anyone was wondering why my thoughts on Maokai were so off, check out Stonewall008's videos on him. Maybe I misinterpreted something he said, but basically I was quoting him on the subject. Can't get a link at the moment due to net issues (though I'm working on it and will find a source within the next few minutes and edit the post with it).

Also also, it is indeed Paper Mario. Love those games, though Super Paper Mario was a bit of a letdown after Thousand-Year Door.

EDIT AGAIN: http://www.youtube.com/user/stonewall008/search?query=maokai Can't actually load any of the videos past the first thirty seconds because public wi-fi sucks, but it's one of the first three if memory serves. Not defending myself, but just saying that's where I got the information from.

No, sorry.

You can't come into a thread where I'm answering someone's question and tell me my answer is wrong. You came in and said, 'this is why Maokai isn't played'. You didn't even qualify it with 'I think'. You're still defending your incorrect position. If he was good he'd be played. Flask solves all mana problems. I don't owe you an apology because you are being ignorant. Ignorance should never be tolerated or rewarded.

Fiddle jungle isn't played very often because it's so damn hard to play him well. I've stated multiple times that he's very strong if you put in the time to master him. The reason few people do is because where someone easy like Jarvan might only take ~100 games to master Fiddle might be upwards of ~500.

BTW: This Thread is not about competetive play, it is pre 30 normal queue. And normal queue, especially pre 30, is way different from competetive play and has its own rules.

The reason I was able to achieve diamond in just under a year of playing league is because I didn't develop too many bad habits pre 30. Throatslasher sat over my shoulder and made sure I learned the right way to play the game. If you develop good habits pre 30 and work on strong champions you'll have a lot of success post 30.

Indeed, you should never give someone 'wrong' advice, even if it applies at their league. You might want to adapt a little bit to the level of your 'student', but you should never give someone false information just because of his level.

I just assume all my opponents are very good players until proven otherwise. No strategy is solid if its prerequisites include "my opponent has to be worse at the game than I am".

(This is not to say you shouldn't punish mistakes; of course you should. Just don't assume your opponent is dumb and won't fight back or outplay you.)

Ha. Qualifying stuff with "well, this works for me well in bronze"

MFer, YOU'RE IN BRONZE. SH*T AIN'T WORKIN'.

There are strategies and champs that are stronger in lower/higher elo, but only if you're smurfing. Like, if I'm smurfing jungle, J4 would do ok, but Lee Sin would absolutely decimate due to his ganks/invades.

Question:

I was recently trying Lee Sin jungle because my Plat friend was asking whether Q start was the thing now because everyone seemed to be starting with it.

So my question is: What ability sequence are you meant to follow with Lee Sin? I've tried looking at guides, but they don't seem to offer an definitive insight to this apparent new trend.
