edit: up to episode 23 with no kyojin...nice twist.

Lol, what?
You're one week behind every time XD
(they're released on Sundays)

I just saw ep24.
Worst episode since episode 13(I think it was 13, the one where they were running along the wall and explained lots of blatantly obvious ****).

Over half of the episode was padding, and many of the crucial elements of the episode makes no ****ing sense..
The manga does it SOOOOO much better.
Allow me to point out two very important points that makes no sense:
episode 24

"I saw [Twilight: Eclipse] in theaters with a girl I was dating at the time. I spent more time staring at my toes and wiggling them than I did watching this abomination. When Edward proposed to Blank Face, I finally looked up with a revelation.
I blurted out loud, in a dead silent theater full of teenage girls on opening night "Wait a minute, Edward has no blood flow. How does he get an erection?" I heard several men laughing, and had several girls turn and stare at me.

I did not get laid that night." - Berengier817

It's an arc in Monogatari Second Season. He might be saying he watched the 3 or 4 episodes that Shiro is composed of.

Yes Shiro (First 5 Episodes of the Monogatari Series season 2). I rewatched Kuro aswell, but forgot to talk about it D:

Kuro, in my opinion, is on par with Bakemonogatari, and better than Nisemonogatari. Shiro is better than them all. The reason once again is Hanekawa/Black Hanekawa. Kuro and Shiro also have the most interesting plot among all the Monogatari arcs, simply because Hanekawa's problem is something you see in your everyday life.

If I have to rank the arcs based on how good they are, I'd say:

1- Tsubasa Tiger (Shiro)
2- Tsubasa Cat II (Kuro)
3- Tsubasa Cat I (Bake)
4- Hitagi Crab (Bake)
5- Mayoi Snail (Bake)
6- Karen Bee (Nise)
7- Suruga Monkey (Bake)
8- Tsukihi Phoenix (Nise)
9- Nadeko Snake (Bake)

However, Shiro will probably be outclassed soon by Koyomi Vamp, where it all started. I hope the movie gets aired soon.

I recall you said that you like Hanekawa as a character. I'd suggest you watch Nekomonogatari Shiro. It's only 5 episodes long, it's all about Hanekawa, and it's actually good!

There's a little bit of fanservice though :P

Seems like a reasonable list(even tho I haven't seen Nise nor Bake S2).
And yeah, the intro to Bake S1 was jaw-dropping, so I have high hopes for the vampire arc.

Yes, yes I do. Hanekawa and Annie from Shingeki No Kyojin are probably my favorite anime characters of all time. (I might need a refresher of Byousoku 5 Centimeter though)

I'll get around to it... sooner or later :3

GAIS, watch this in HD & fullscreen.

If you like that trailer, go watch the movie.
Makoto Shinkai has made some seriously amazing stuff. Check it out his other works.

Oh no, she's better in the manga. Her awesome speech doesn't happen in the anime at all. You know that speech to her teammates of the police force. I was all over that.

I've ran out of anime to watch aswell. Guess I'll go back to my 2005 anime folder and watch Ikkitousen.

It's basically DBZ with uncensored boobies. Why am I rewatching this? Nostalgy :P

It's arguably the ****piest anime I've ever seen, yet I still like it simply because it reminds me of my childhood :D

@ searz well I actually like that speech at least, also the pros of reading the manga vs watching the anime is that I can say to my friends that don't like manga "oh you say you know the female titan's identity, well I know the colossal and armored titan's identity" and just watch them run thinking I would give them spoilers. Also I still haven't seen 5 centimeters per second.

In trying to find the best quality of Ergo Proxy on the internetz I stumbled across this.
2GB for half-decent 1080p quality for a 24episode series? O.o
That's pretty cool.
