Because it's mostly plat 1 with plat 1 or plat 2, those 2 are always last pick, and I'm almost always on the same team as duo queuers because of how often they duo queue right now. So as 4th and 5th pick are nearly always taken by duo queuers, that leaves me with just 3rd, 2nd and 1st pick. And the chances of me being "1st or 2nd pick" are bigger than me being "3rd pick".
