I will not wear a tighter shirt unfortunately. I want to actually wear this thing in front of children/coworkers/classmates. I am in my mid-twenties and hang out with grad students/seniors at Uni. I will be wearing this at a gaming event run by myself and some officers on campus, sponsored by Microsoft. I am also trying to land a job there someday as an engineer. I also will be wearing this when I hand out candy in front of kids. I am actually considering buttoning it up one more button lol.
Ah okay, I didn't realise it was for an educational-type setting (especially handing candy to children, lol).
It's a uni-type setting. When I say "kids" I mean high school/college age kids at a starcraft tournament. I am setting it up with a gaming group at a college campus. First prize is a Microsoft Surface and getting featured in the local paper. I get to write about them, interview them, and take a picture with them :P We are (mostly) gaming enthusiasts, computer scientists, and engineers.
That sounds like a lot of fun. Good luck in your cosplay! ^^ Hextech janna is the best skin for her imo.
I myself always wanted to cosplay, but I don't quite fit the appearance of any league champs. :[
(Maybe I'm skinny and flat chested enough to pull off
Jinx! A joke, of course XD)

OTG you could cosplay as Commando...
Just get that tattoo quicksnap, bulk up (like you said you were trying to do) and grow more hair.
People will think it's a fake tattoo but it'll be legit and you'll win first place just for pure dedication.
League related you can cosplay as Cho'Gath

Jhoi you have me wondering now if I should get another shirt. Some of my girlfriends and a guy friend actually agree with you! Meh. I will consider wearing a push-up bra. I am of the opinion that I don't really need to sex up the costume more than what I am comfortable with, even If I am just out trolling around with friends. People will know who I am and cosplay is about character and charisma. It is also about craft. You don't need to be uber-thin or wearing skin-tight clothes to play a part and have fun.
On the other hand, I'm young and *should* let loose once in a while. What are you planning? You got me curious...

why not both? get the tight shirt for the thing with the college students and stuff and when youre handing out candy to children get the loose shirt instead
plus to me it looks weird without the tight shirt, itll be cool seeing the finished thing though

Tortuga: My reason wasn't to sex it up, just to resemble the likeliness of the splash art. You don't have to get a plunging neck-line or a push-up bra, just a soft v-neck long sleeved shirt. It's not about "being sexy", it's about replicating the original work - if the cosplay is originally sexy, well, that's another story. You can still pull off a v-neck shirt without over-sexualising it.

Bonus of these types of shirts is that they are super comfy and will make you look far slimmer than "work wear" button ups. It'd feel more comfy under the corset/vest thing too ^^
