I never tried in ranked until recently and made it to gold in two weeks from Silver IV when I heard the rewards announcement for season 3, sadly I'm only a lowly Gold V, but hope to try to achieve Platinum and/or Diamond in season 4 now that I actually feel motivated to play rank.
