Yesterday was so awesome... Had my first real day of work, and everyone said I did absolutely great! Then in the evening I want to see a light festival with some old friends, which was a lot of fun :D

I fought several knights in a gauntlet (and got a mutual kill on one of them) and one of them went into the fight and killed me before I could react because I am "too dangerous to play around with". Biggest compliment I think anyone's ever given me in relation to SCA combat and even more so given I was fighting in a style I'm not authorized in yet.
Might take a picture of my rather impressive bruise from my inability to block thigh shots when fighting sword and shield (I bruise easily, so it looks worse than it actually is)...it's nearly black and there are three lines from the shots I took and a line where my thigh armor ends (xD), but doesn't hurt as much as other bruises I've had.
If you wanna see the bruise, you can PM me...I'm not gonna post a picture of it.

I fought several knights in a gauntlet (and got a mutual kill on one of them) and one of them went into the fight and killed me before I could react because I am "too dangerous to play around with". Biggest compliment I think anyone's ever given me in relation to SCA combat and even more so given I was fighting in a style I'm not authorized in yet.
