I'm missing the "Other" option, I think a lot of AP champs with good CC could become supports given the fact that the gold income for a support will be higher now.
As far as the ones you listed go, I'd love for Alistar to make a comeback, used to be my main support but it got screwed over by people jungling him :c

Ofc I will continue playing Lulu. She will get changed slightly and I think I'll really enjoy the new gold income for supports. Some items with more AP or so like Morellonomicon might be good standard choices because whe will be received new AP scaling on her Glitterlance (the slow scales but I'm not sure how it really works with dat 533 AP +- stuff) and Whimsy (the MS buff increase).

Feels like supports are now more versatile.
Since I never play anything except stuff that can go aggressive balls deep, I kinda get the thrift that Supports can play a stronger "Big Brother" role to their ADCs than S3.
But not in a way you can even try talking about Meta.
If it becomes possible to allow the Support to take some of the hero kills and play him as part-time roamer to gank mid or counter-jungle....

more versatile due to gold gains perhaps, but for a lot of supports i feel like they are pigeonholing them into support without any possibility to lane elsewhere due to the damage reductions to a handful of the supports. as long as lulu and nami are playable i will be happy. also willing to learn the murder cow if he can be more viable.

Yea, carry and support both getting that shield thing seems pretty effective. I could see that being the new meta, not to mention the execution of minions helps to push better. :p
