I'm not sure why Comment 2 Vote isn't automatically enabled. The only people who'd possibly not want it are those who already know about it, and can deselect it. People who don't know about it (generally newcomers) get shafted by the fact their guide isn't "protected" by C2V.

I'm proposing that C2V is automatically enabled when you create a new guide.

Thoughts?

I was about to say no because some people do want C2V enabled just to get votes faster, but then I remembered you'd still have the option to disable it. :P I agree, more people want it enabled than disabled, so it should automatically be enabled.

I don't think this would be a hard thing to implement and it'd really protect the new users who tend not to know that this feature exists.

Prime example of a guide getting a tonne of -votes due to a MobaFire bug. Those downvotes *may* not have occurred if C2V is automatically enabled for guides. With the S4 reset coming, I'm wondering if the first 20 votes will be C2V.
