What is it that makes rammus weak early? I always considered rammus quite strong in his earlygame, because of his ridiculous bonus armor/magic resist he gets from his W, and I never really had any problems with counterjunglers just because of that (except from some sneaky champions like Shaco that steals your farm sneakily). Only problem I have with him is his early-game farming, but that's it, really.

I honestly think he really was too strong of a champion, so much cc, aoe damage, and tankiness rolled into one singular champion. Therefore, Riot nerfed him slightly from the tanky cc monster he is but did update his mana costs to those of newer champions.
