Hey all! Publishing my guide again because I feel the bulk of the information is still relevant and since it's helped so many people already I want to still give it exposure despite being outdated, I'll be working towards updating as soon as possible!

Hey Nate :) i just wanted to say that Tresh and Vi have a better synergi with yasuo than Malphite has. you can actually ult on Vi's Q too if you are fast enough. and if you have ninja reactions or just spamming R, then you can ult on Tresh Q (not kidding) and his E. o they both have 2 knock-ups/backs. where malphite only have one..

Have a nice day

Hi here's your requested feedback (sorry it took a while I was moving into a new house + holidays)

for starters looking at the names to your mastery builds is fun but can have some negative stigma for your readers. just my suggestion would be to keep the titles but when referring to the build itself within the guide replace things like "the samurai jack build" with "the AS build" and leave the cool graphics you created at the top with the titles.
1. to avoid confusion
2. to retain some of the readers that dont enjoy that kind of external content.

just like i think i commented on one of your other guides a while back, labeling items as "core" confuses people. instead label them as first second and third buys. also, explaining the items without comparison and what they do for yasuo before you go into your whole early/mid/late core might help alleviate some of this confusion as well.

your explanation of trinity is a wall of text (kinda like how my review will be) and is hard to keep a reader's attention. maybe a graphic in there to spice it up. you did a great job everywhere else im sure you got it covered.

your later optional items arent explained with as much depth as your comparison on the stronger items on yasuo but understanding how ALL of his options work will help your readers. it's also a bummer for a reader who sees an item that they thought was good get tossed aside. to accomodate explaining why its more bad than good 9 times out of 10 helps them understand more how to change their gameplay.

what would really help your gameplay section is a play by play picture showing how you set up a fight and what affects the choices you make. of course this is extremely hard to cover all situations but they general gist of what you WANT to do would really help people understand how yasuo needs to pick and choose his battles versus trying to force the enemy into making a move

the only thing that i DONT agree with you on is the rune choices to get 100% crit chance at end game. with yasuo being able to have such a weak early game I think it's much more important to have a stronger early game than late game. playing safe early isn't always an option and can cause more harm than good. this follows over to buying avarice blade early. I just don't think the tradeoff for a little extra money is worth giving up all of that guaranteed power.

overall this guide is freaking huge and excellent. it has great uses of graphics and visuals. you giving go overboard and that's always good to see. like stated before theres some lulls in the presentation and addressing those is all I can personally think to make the presentation better. outside of that is the way you play yasuo and while not always easy for others to replicate I've got nothing negative to say about it.

top 5 all time

No, I totally saw that part, I just don't feel as if you explained it quite enough. You didn't go into detail just how powerful it can be. Lots of people underestimate Yasuo and only expect him to throw the tornado, plenty don't think he's going to dash in and knock you up.

I'm finding it a bit hard trying to understand what you're saying. If I was to go about explaining "how powerful" his E + Q spin combo is... I'd be adding in unnecessary information. It would be an explanation with no statistics, relevant information past "you can potentially knock up a whole enemy team", and at best maybe a set up scenario to use it in. I'm trying to deliver as much prominent and useful information as I possibly can, dedicating paragraphs to ideas like that is pretty pointless and just padding/fluff to the guide.

And while plenty of people do understand that you can utilize his e + q to harass the enemy, some still don't. If this is supposed to be an encyclopedia, then it should contain as much information about Yasuo as possible and explain these things. Not everything is as apparent as it seems.

I'm a bit confused on what you're trying to say here as well. This is the first time I've heard anyone ever say that they never understood the simple acting of getting into range with an ability, attacking with an ability, and then choosing to either go in or back up. While people may not be able to do it effectively, due to lack of mechanics or general unfamiliarity of the champ, I've never heard of someone unable to do so. If you could possibly point someone who doesn't in my direction so that you could show some feasible evidence on people who struggle to understand this so they can explain their plight, by all means I would love to hear this in order to create an explanation to help them. But otherwise, I'm really not convinced at all as to adding anymore information past what I've put down.

You need to read the guide more closely, you're missing these things that you want to call me out on. @Combo Section

As for explanation, I feel like its really too self explanatory of a thing, if you have a certain way that you'd like me to go about explaining it, can you give an example?

I hope you at least enjoyed the guide regardless though, it's understandable to miss things because of the length, but the chapter titles tell you everything you need about the information there, use that as the basis, and if you feel like I'm missing something still, by all means tell me :D

I can't believe the best guide on Yas I've seen doesn't really mention his dash + 'nado combo >.> I've noticed that a lot of players completely forget about this and don't utilize it. I think you should go into a little of detail on how you can use it. I'd also like to see you explain using the e + q combo to poke the enemy without eing onto them. That's another point that should be talked about more often in Yas guides.

Some updates for today, Notes have been completely finished for all the builds, Heal has been added to the summoner spell list, small grammar changes, so far there hasn't really been anything else that people have been asking for so from here on out, I'll just be doing small changes everyday, looking for mistakes and awkward phrasing. Enjoy the guide :D!
