I'm actually starting to hate the 
Zed matchup as Talon now because of the doran's shield start that a lot of them go with :/, and if they take some lifesteal runes as well you can just forget about ever killing them or even forcing them out.
Edit: Just realized that Zed in your game was probably top lol, but have you noticed the matchup becoming tougher in recent times because of the Shield start or not really?

Have I noticed the Zed match-up becoming tougher? I haven't noticed the Zed match-up at all l0l, no one plays him at my elo anymore.
Doran's Shield is a pretty good start on Talon too by the way. I do that instead of Rejuv Bead, seeing as the sustain from Doran's shield lasts after my first B, as opposed to the HP pots from Rejuv Bead. I usually start Long Sword though, or Doran's Blade with lifesteal runes against melee champs.

Pretty nice for my 300th Talon game.
FB on Ori, double kill + double buffs in a counter-gank on top lane 30 seconds later, level 6 while everyone else was level 3, and Last Whisper on first B at level 6. From there on it literally felt like a bot game lol, and I mean LITERALLY.

Holy, Jesus, **********ing Christ, I have never been camped so hard in my life.
Elise ganked me at level 3, using her E and Flashing into me at my tower to Q me and kill me. Then she tried to gank me two more times within the next 2 minutes after I entered the lane again, then when I would have been able to kill Syndra at 6, Rengar ganked me and I had to blow my ult escaping that gank, so that removed all my kill potential on Syndra. Then I got ganked a million more times by Elise, and I was literally ganked over 10 times in total by 14 minutes. Bot and top lane said they hadn't been ganked by Syndra a single time, so she was literally just completing 1 or 2 camps then coming mid for a gank, then going back for her camps then ganking again. And worst thing is? Bot and top lost on their own, despite Nasus helping them out. He never stepped on my lane and I was still the person who was having the most 1v1 success of us all ( even if that 1v1 only lasted 5 seconds between each gank ).
