I have a few questions about your Olaf guide! I have my own Olaf guide currently, and ours seem to be very similar. I was confused with your ability order; getting a second Undertow at level 2. I feel as if you should get on with Reckless Swing. This allows you to poke early since you don't have a large amount of mana (which you stated in your guide), it has a larger range then most auto-attacks from melee champions, and it can also be used to last hit minions (farm) because it gives the health back if you kill a monster or minion with the ability. I understand that you are trying to max Undertow as soon as possible for the max damage outputs, but I just feel as if you may want to change that because after 4 Undertows, you are already out of mana, and that isn't effective for farming, especially since you have champions that are strong counters (such as Gnar) as less of a threat. You need to make your matchups more realistic. Gnar completely destroys you early because the only thing you can do early game is use Undertow to poke, which uses 70 mana. You have to camp turret until late game to truly attack Gnar. I just think you should rethink your matchups to this guide, and also be more detailed so players know what to do in all portions of the game. Your title also seems to be misleading. After reading the title of your guide, I click on it thinking you seem to be building CDR with Olaf, but in reality, you truly are just maxing it first allowing you to slow and damage your opponent in extreme amounts. I also think you should be more detailed in your guide. Currently you have few examples and talk little about strategy and other important aspects of the game. Other then these key points, I think you have something going here, and if you added a little more, this could be a very successful guide.

@Da Wild Rumpus I really do appreciate the criticism/advise Rumpus. I will try and fix the problems that you have pointed out as soon as possible and most likely will add alternatives. But remember this guide is still in construction and I have things to deal with besides the guide which I really which could be my main priority. Anyways thanks for the rating even it was a downvote. :)

I do the like the guide since it is a guide and it can help players but I think it's lacking the effort and time of a good guide. First and this isn't a real problem but a typo, you put 9 Attack Damage Quints. My 2nd problem with this guide is the lack of "Lane Opponent Advice". I think a well built guide will include as many champs that you could see in lane (in this case top) as possible. There isnt many champs the ones that are there are mediocre to difficult matchups (except for Khazix). Posting difficult posting the difficult matchups is great because these are the most important to know but what if a player wants to know how to really dominate his lanes against easier matchups and matchups that are likely to happen (an example is Renekton). Two of the champs Kha'Zix and Fiora (and even maybe gangplank) don't seem all that neccesary since the plenty of tops that you are more likely to face in top lane alot more then the these. Third is the build and I say this sadly because I think you really exceled in the "Falling behind Build".(Hands down this is the best and my favorite part of your guide.) Apart from that I think your build could use a bit more explanation to it and alternatives. Fourth and this is the last part, your runes and explanation. I'm not saying your wrong your runes look great for a plain jane olaf. But not every game is plain jane and although you recommend using these runes there are several (likely) scenarios these runes aren't neccessary. (For example your facing an ad top that relies on cool downs such as renekton or riven, and your opposing team has an ad jungler. Your Magic resist glyphs aren't needed. If you want the magic resist glyphs to truly be helpful scaling magic resist glyphs work if your opponent has a strong ap mid but cooldown reduction glyphs could incorporate into a really strong build and a really agressive snowballing top lane.)

I'd like to say I'm not hating this guide or you I think you have a really good start and something to work on. I think it needs alot more work done to it. Theres so much that could be done dont be sacred to deviate from the plain jane aspects you have, tried to be creative and more helpful like you were with your "falling behind advice". I don't know if you'll find this advice helpful or if your appreicate it but I hope you do. Your sitting on a potentially great guide.
