didnt zyra only get shoved into support after they murdered all of her damage?
I think it was because at the time Zyra came out, if you weren't roaming from mid, you weren't doing it right at all, and they gutted her base MS, so people just started supporting her.
Ori isn't that good as a support, she's essentially Karma with less reliable harass but with more CC in teamfights. You might as well play her mid, she's generally pretty good atm as far as I know. I never really liked Karma as a support before her rework. I felt her solo laning was much better.

It was a lot more fun too. Her old passive and Q together gave her so much baiting ability.
At the time supports were still ward bots so a good support had to have presence without items, and the best way to do this was to just simply have tons of cc.
Zyra mostly was picked up as a support because her aoe disengage and pick potential with her e were extremely fit for pick comps, and her cc and lane presence were crazy.

Her Q is pretty useful for vision in the lane brush, too, especially now that supports generally have less wards at their disposal early.
I haven't played it in forever and I'm not sure how she compares to Karma, but I think she shouldn't be much worse.

I'm tired of losing. I'm going to destroy everything in my path. I'm on a Leona warpath. After my core support purchases I was 6/0 and not taking ****. I rushed Sunfire Aegis and then Varus started getting focused by Vi so I picked up a Mikael's Blessing to help him out. My final purchase would have been Randuin's Omen.
Same runes and masteries and skill order as before.
Game Summary:
Jinx was being a bit cocky with poking Varus and I realized she was also maxing her Zap!, so I abused her between cooldowns, allowing Varus to pick up first blood. Thresh was super trigger happy on his hook and I body blocked it nearly every time, which resulted in poor trades for him and Jinx every time.
Warwick got demolished by Malphite and Lee Sin, but Orianna wasn't faring well against Gragas, who roamed around and killed Varus and Lee Sin at different points. Gragas was so safe and slippery, we basically never tried to kill him. Jinx was our primary *****.
A comical moment happened when I ulted Jinx and she immediately got hit by the Unstoppable Force and Command: Shockwave. She was alone. That was completely unnecessary. But so satisfying.
Most of our team fights were 4v5 while Lee Sin gathered towers and objectives. Whenever he felt like getting a free kill, he came in. He had a tendacy to be cocky as **** and died a lot, but he got the job done of back dooring the **** out of them.
They lost by chasing me around after a bad 4v5 while Lee Sin kicked their Nexus to death.
Things I learned:
Our team comp was absolutely hilarious. Warwick top isn't seeming as OP as that EUW guy made it seem.
Things to work on:
Nothing. I ****ed the **** out of that team.
Questions for MOBAfire:
I've been playing a lot of Leona out of violent rage. I am on rampage and Leona demands blood for sacrifice to the Sun. Who is your total rampage champion that you bring out to turn around a bad losing spree?
